So wild for me to see this, because I was randomly thinking of him and that 2009 draft just yesterday.

They’ve giving the shots to younger players, but Jared is a better player now than when he was young. When he was young he was a first round pick.

He was/is a great player. Hopefully he can get one more shot in the bigs!

A great video and a fine young man. I met him briefly when he was playing for the Class A Kannapolis Intimidators. We talked a little Tiger football - I told him I was sorry he would not return to football, but I wished him well in his baseball career.
