Championship teams don't beat themselves.

on a neutral field we beat bama by 3+ touchdowns
LSU was better from the jump and better at the end. when they needed to close the game out, they did it on offense without breaking a sweat.

bring them on i'd love to humiliate those losers

The people saying that Bama beat themselves are idiots and someone should ask ESPN why they have so much manlove for Saban

Frickers lost and they will not go to SECCG so they are out of consideration. They want to have different rules.....maybe they should go independent like Notre Dame

bama is much better than auburn... I am clueless why someone thinks the auburn offense can go toe-to-toe with the bama offense. tua and bama will boat-race the plainsmen.

So you think Bama is much better than Auburn but LSU isn't?

Because LSU beat Auburn by 3 points.

Auburn can find a way to give the knockout punch in 2 weeks.

The problem is Auburns offense isn't worth a frick. Defense is legit, offense is pedestrian.

they're trying to basically invalidate what we did on the field.

Exactly. When there are only four playoff spots up for grabs, head to head matchups MUST matter. The game Saturday was an elimination game, just like Utah-Oregon is a defacto elimination game.

The CFB POC will do what the folks who own the sport tell them to do.

Bama will be back in it.

too expect a one-loss PAC 12, or one-loss Big XII, champion would leap frog a one-loss bama team in the final CFP rankings.

This.

You can’t leave out a 1 loss conf champ and put in Bama who didn’t even win their division and lost at home

But you know Saban will run up scores to show they have improved.

I would be elated to see Auburn win. We are in the drivers seat, and I be damned if I am going to ever hope Alabama wins.

If anyone actually watched Bama/LSU the eye test would say we were a much better team.

They did this when only two teams could get in.

Now that four teams can get in, they can do it ever year if they want to.

Want to expand it to 8?

Great! That guarantees other media darlings like Notre Dame a direct entry annually, despite not deserving it.

The SEC is their cash cow, and ESPN will use every bit of influence they have to persuade the Selection Committee to have 2 SEC Teams in the semifinals.

Can we get all of the Bama threads in one place --- maybe in one thread --- or even on the MSB?

We aren't scared to play them. But for the long term, we want their program to decline. We want to crush them in recruiting, and we don't want them to be able to brag that they made it to the playoff yet again.

At the end of the season, we want them going to the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl in Boise, OK?

Numbnuts on Pardon the Interruption both agreed and stated that if the game had lasted 4 minutes longer Bama would have won.
Don’t those idiots remember that we had the ball at the end of the game and likely would have put another 7 on the board if we needed.

fricking homers.
