he fell past many more higher profile jobs down to Maryland
LSU didn't even release him until January. Hell, Ree and others were calling the rumors of his departure bullshite into December.
Which "higher profile" jobs were still available at that point?

I mean do you think that analysis isn’t correct?

And if LSU is ranked too high, then Miami is astronomically overrated!

LSU has fallen off because a few uninformed clowns from ESPN stated a silly belief that LSU isn’t one of the top 25 teams?
We were limited last year with some roster deficiencies and still were 1 game from winning the West. I’d be willing to bet that none of these prognosticators know that, but I do.

We could barely run it.
Did you actually watch the offense he ran at Pitt? There’s nothing special about. Throwing to offensive linemen, shovel passes, etc is hardly innovative. If he couldn’t teach it, then maybe that’s a reflection of his skills and personality.

“It was a gimmick and in efficient”
It scored 42 pts a game in 2016 and beat Clemson who had a top10 total defense.
It didn’t work here, but it sure the hell worked the year before and with less talented athletes. I think the jury is still out on why it didn’t work better here.

After the Troy game, the offense increased shifts and jet sweeps. Total plays per game and rushing yards per game increased, while offensive penalties per game and turnovers per game decreased.
Troy is the one game where Orgeron admitted to eliminating shifts, and we finished with 4 turnovers and 0-9 on 3rd down.
Red zone left a lot to be desired, but the shifts appear to have done a lot for the efficiency of that "gimmicky" offense.

Yeah I see Those things 3-4 times a drive.
It did watch t at Pitt and I watched It work at Pitt.
I can Tell you what we ran looked like we were trying and failing to run what he ran at Pitt. Except you know when o was makin “minor tweaks”

How far has our football program fallen? Debating whether LSU should be in the Top 25 or not. Wow.
Yep! And it took less than 2 seasons.

That LSU with that defense and even a dysfunctional offense is not even worth the 25th ranking. There are teams right now on that list that shouldn't be ranked higher because they don't have a good enough offense or defense. So, no, I don't think that analysis is correct.

This is what I am most concerned about. I thought this last year as well.

No...Canada's offense sucks in the SEC vs big boy defenses.

Iean, yes I think that analyst was incorrect, and that fact will be proven in about 11 days. Wonder why a #8 ranked team is only a 2.5 to 3 point favorite over what you say should be an unranked team? Probably never crossed your low iq mind.

Sammy, have you ever thought about coaching? You seem to have the knowledge for it, and certainly the right temperament
