Possibly because he's the one who decides whether or not to answer the questions??? Just a guess.

I hope someone peppers him with questions and makes his head explode. That would be comical.

If they don't, they're not doing their job.

His first day in Miami he locked the state of the art media building & kept the key. He demanded full control of the media & its access to the team. He gets away with that at the college level: The Advocate was under strict guidlines to pander to him thanks to the Manships. He couldn't control the pro beat writers & that was the source of a lot of the animosity towards him when he lied & left like he did. All the coaches under him have had a gag rule placed on them, college & pros.

He really didn't have that at LSU. One school, one state, one team that everyone cares about. it's not the same in the NFL or at Alabama and he can't figure that out.

To a degree, I agree with you. I don't think media or fans have a right to know about injury status of players which has a direct implication on a game's outcome.

But let's face it, THAT storyline is the only reason Gameday and plenty of other media outlets will be sending more reporters to BR and Tuscaloosa this week.

This is just him not wanting a distraction....which, by demanding such, will become a distraction.

Well that settles it. Your e-penis is bigger than any of the media's.

He wants a booster seat at the post-game press conference.

The Manship's didn't pander to him and stymie any negative coverage of him. That's maybe the most ridiculous statement I've ever heard on this board and you want to act like it's accurate. You sir, are completely full of shite.

i think this is actually saban telling reporters to ask him about the LSU stuff.

think about it. "i will not be the head coach at alabama" which means:
i will be the head coach at alabama.

so maybe "don't ask me about my time at LSU" really means:

ask me about my time at LSU.

Sorry, I'm not getting into a pissing match here over whether your source can beat up my source. It's the rant, sir, chill out.

Didn't work in Miami. The reporter never backed down with regards to the Alabama job.

In fact, he hightailed it out of Miamia because he didn't want the media scrutiny when he announced he was going to Alabama. Sounds like somebody can dish it out, but can't take it.

That's because you don't have one. I have two sources in this matter: 1. Myself, from working in athletic department during the time. 2. The Manship family, whom I've known longer and better than you.

So it's really not having a pissing match because you have nothing in this case.

So Bellechik shouldn't have been asked about filming pregames last year because he wins? Is that how it's supposed to work?

Well, it is HIS press conference...I would imagine that he can control it however he sees fit.

It's a two way street. They are reporters. If he doesn't want to answer something, fine. But he can't limit what they ask him, he can only piss and moan about it like he always has.
