I don't post a whole lot, as evidenced by my post count, but I had to make an exception for this one. Sheddrick is a class human being. We worked side by side for the better part of 3 years. He was an investigator with the Jefferson Parish D.A.'s office while I was a prosecutor there. Without getting into all the details, Shed exercised poor judgment and was forced to resign. This did NOT result from anything of a sexual nature. He screwed up, owned up to it and paid dearly for it. He's a good guy who made a bad decision. He moved away for a fresh start and a new job. He is also the father of an autistic son, who he is deeply devoted to. Although, we've lost touch in the last couple of years, I still consider him a friend and wish him all the best.

i was there for a little christmas cocktail get together with some former collegues. i dig it. good vibe, cool atmosphere, upscale professional crowd. as long as noone loses control coming around Lee Circle and makes a drive-thru out of it, it's a good place to hang. :cheers:
