I hate all this and I'm glad we not playing these guys but the Chambliss thing is so hypocritical. It's ok for him to be ruled ineligible but get ok'ed by a local judge. Ive heard media guys saying they are glad he gets to play because college football is better with him playing. Ridiculous.

Pretty sure Lane wants Chambliss on the field in a few weeks. The old saying “return to the mean” comes to mind. Look at his career stats. Last year was an anomaly.

The GameDay signs for that game should all somehow highlight that not only did he have to sue to be granted the bogus sore throat medical redshirt against NCAA objections…but that medical redshirts are no longer a thing and under 5-for-5 he shouldn’t be playing at all as a 2021 guy.
So now we have play against an NFL-aged QB because he once had a scratchy throat and the SEC is populated by hypocrites.

One team is following the NCAA/SEC rules knowing they are going to be whipping arse regardless.
The other knows they already have slim chances so they are doing whatever they have to do to win including playing an ineligible player.
