I'm not surprised. ESPN is owned jointly by Walt Disney Company and Hearst Corporation. Disney has long ago ventured away from the legacy Walt Disney created. I would never take my family to Disneyland (either one of them). I'll just say this and leave it at that. Having said that the folks at ESPN have turned the network into a mouthpiece for the progressive liberal cause.

We're on the cusp of an effort to politicize collegiate football. It's happening right now in the NFL. It begins by attacking coaches that don't fit the mold. IMO as far as ESPN is concerned, Ed Orgeron is too Christian, too traditional, and too white.

Having said that, Congratulations to the LSU Tigahs. You did us all proud....haw haw yaw yaw!

On a completely different level — it was not in the interest of LSU when they mercilessly mocked Les Miles . It hurt to sit in living rooms and be treated as some kind of half- witted incompetent on tv every day by ESPN. They built that narrative and ran with it . And now they are doing the same to Ed Orgeron- almost uniquely among cfb coaches. He has now replaced Les Miles as THE cfb half -wit. That they roll out to ridicule. Remember now- this guy just waxed Florida, Auburn and Ole Miss and they are inserting chicken cartoons and imaginary redneck commentary into our highlights . That’s a really bad look - and one that ESPN has hung around LSU for a decade .

In O's defense, I had one of those chicken on a stick things from the place where coach O used to get his and it was good as frick.

LSU fans carried that same narrative with Miles and they damn sure did when O was at Ole Miss. All those jokes were hilarious when O was in Oxford.

Watch anything about Mike Leach.

Seriously? Chicken on a stick from a gas station isn’t funny?

Grow up.

To be fair - I stopped watching a couple of years ago . So if they are in fact mocking all these guys, it would mitigate my comments . I look forward to the mockery of Lord Saban.

I don’t like the superimposed chicken on a stick being eaten the way it was.

I’d like to think he would put it on a plate and eat it like a civilized human being.

I thought O's comment was a backhanded slap at Oxford/ Ole Miss, plus his failed first chance at coaching in the SEC.

Plus he got a plug in for his friend Phillis, who picked the Tigers to win.

But I agree with those who say ESPN loves to make fun of O. I can't wait for their reversal once we roll.
