I hate this debate but you’re right. Some people do phrase it that way. I have always considered the #1seed the highest and #16 seed the lowest. Seems dumb to me to refer to it the other way around.

Sounds like they meant that they thought LSU would have had a lower number like a 5 or 6 seed. Just the context of what all was said when this was mentioned.
