But seriously, do please stop trying. You're just embarrassing yourself.

You've never disclosed your disability. I think it is only fair to the board that you do so. I feel kinda guilty doing this to you.

The part where the Florida game is somehow onthe OC.

Well I never said that. But I have a hard time considering a game where the offense puts up 10 points as a feather in Ensminger's cap. Yeah, we moved the ball nicely but couldn't translate it to points.

To ESPN, it’s about being first not being correct.

It's not that it's a feather in his cap. It's those using that game against him.

Of course they think we'll go with Ensminger. It's what we do in Louisiana. We promote the local guy from within because outsiders with their big ideas and big words scare and confuse us.

If Ensminger works out it is pure luck. Luck is not how you build a consistent championship contender. You need a process for that.

When you have a process and things breakdown you can pinpoint where the breakdown occurred and adjust. When you are throwing things against the wall to see what sticks you have no idea.

A bunch of yards doesn't mean the OC did his job.

Yards are fricking irrelevant without points attached to them. Did the over 500 yards of offense West Virginia amassed against us in 2011 help them sleep at night when the score was 47-21?

In a discussion of the OC?

I doubt it, but I bet they weren't using that game in an argument to fire their OC.

Yeah that's cool, understandable. I have no connections so really don't know squat about "inside information." I have read on here that Ponamsky reads this board and I guess some feel he is influenced by it, to the extent he uses it to gauge fans' reactions to things. And, he has some amount of influence on Orgeron. So, if that's the case, then I DO find some value to posting one's GREAT DISPLEASURE at the prospective hiring of Ensminger as OC. And again, it's sad that some view this as a personal attack on Steve E., b/c he was a great LSU player and is a good coach and good guy, but, to be very honest, he ain't "one of the best coordinators" in college football, which was a cardinal promise Orgeron made to get hired.

Didn’t you say you weren’t wasting your time anymore?

You’re only digging your hole deeper.

ESPN has no idea. They’re a joke when it comes to “insiders”. Stick to local reports.

ESPN: Ensminger "strong" candidate for OC

Sources said tight ends coach Steve Ensminger is a strong candidate to replace Canada as offensive coordinator. Ensminger served as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for then-interim LSU coach Ed Orgeron last season after the school fired coach Les Miles and offensive coordinator Cam Cameron in late September 2016.

In general, when an offense puts up a lot of yards and few points, it indicates a lot of individual errors and bad luck within a good and effective game plan.

The coach, in that situation, likely did a pretty good job.

Ensminger certainly isn’t a big name OC, so I can see why people would object, but anyone who doesn’t think he immediately made the offense better last year - using the exact same playbook that previously existed- didn’t watch the games critically. He did a pretty good job taking over for a much bigger name.

If he gets the job, I will certainly wait to judge.
Lot of talent out there in the world in all walks of life who aren’t ‘big names’ simply due to circumstances/ lack of opportunity.

Playing a healthy Guice instead of an I jured Four were made the offense better

Playing weaker defenses that wisconsin and Auburn helped too.

We scored 10 points bs Florida and Alabama last year.

Checks out. An Ensminger offense would definitely be old and outdated.
