Why do we have to pay additional money to watch regional baseball?

Because ESPN owns the product and they can do whatever they want.

Why is LSU on ESPN+? Because they know LSU fans will pay them to watch the games. Unfortunately our passion hurts us at times. The same thing happened when ESPN started the streaming. I think it was called watchespn then but LSU’s regional and super regional were on the streaming service because they knew LSU fans would figure out a way to get the games.

Lmao! I know right, it’s like less than a gallon of gas. I think it may even come with a free 3 or 7 day trial period! Lol.
I know when I did the Hulu package deal it included Disney plus and espn+ and I had a free trial period. Don’t remember how long tho.
So if anyone is to stingy to pay the little 5 bucks or so, they should try that route and use the Hulu package deal free trial

I already have espn+ because I enjoy watching UFC and a lot of their fight nights are on espn+ and then you have to have espn+ to even be able to buy the ppv (which to me is a load of shite).

I understand why most people don't want to get it just for special occasions like regional baseball and then soon for at least 1 football game a year.

My solution is to just find a friend or family member that already has it and get their logins.

It’s cheaper if you have Hulu and purchase it as add on …

I fricking hate ESPN+. The app is so damn slow. I love flipping between games but it takes a couple min just to get to the next game on ESPN+.

ETA: and it’s not my internet. No buffering or anything. It’s the fact it takes forever for the white box to move to the next game or category.

Good grief. ESPN does not have enough "free" platforms to televise all the Regional games unless they use ESPN+. Just sign up for ESPN+ and pay the damned $6.99 for one month and you'll see at least 2 LSU games in Regionals.

I'm neither and I have a big issue with ESPN in general. Their broadcast is complete shite. By placing a permanent scroll bar at the bottom of the screen they are taking 15% of my screen for an ad and some scores that do not interest me. If they did, I could look them up on my phone. In order to take 15% of my viewable screen, they must lower the quality of the signal thus broadcasting their content in 2006 era 720p.

Even a spoiled shite internet poster such as yourself could recognize this.

I don't give a frick about the USM vs. Army game, but the LSU regional games should be on SECN+ at a minimum.

I don’t care because I have ESPN+ year round. I don’t mind it. They have UFC and the documentaries are cool but It’s still over 7 dollars after tax.

Maybe I’m an O-T baller and didn’t know it but I have an extra 7.50 a month to spend on it.

You obviously don't know about the "down arrow" twice that lets you switch between programs and puts your selections at the top. Not ESPN+'s fault.

LSU fans cry about everything. I am old enough to remember Tigervision where you might as well be listening on the radio unless it was a day game. Then you would read about it in the paper the next day.

Now everything is handed to them on a silver platter and they still cry like little bitches.

They put the team that will have the most viewers streaming the game. That’s smart business.

If the tournament was at LSU it would be on SEC+ at the very least. Southern Miss has a deal with ESPN+.

Works out better for those of us with the Disney+/Hulu/ESPN+ bundle who don't pay for scam-arse cable tv.

Well why don’t you cry about it then?
