Just wait til the new SEC/ESPN contract kicks in and you have conference football games on ESPN+

I'd be defending them if ESPN+ gave you access to their entire library and all the live channels, even for a premium.

But this is absurd. I'm supposed to buy sling/hulu live/yttv and ESPN+ to see LSU play in a regional?

I think not. The value just isn't there. I'm not bitching about it, more so just not giving them money and finding something else to do. I can listen on the radio and ride my bike.

If you aren’t 80 years old this probably shouldn’t be an issue for you. If you are 80, just ask your spoiled shite grandchild to help

There are no issues

It puts the game on a TV screen. Felt like that was implied

That is 100% coming. Maybe not right away, but ESPN(Disney) didn't agree to pay ~$300 million per year for the rights to SEC games only to give ALL of them away "free".

For many, myself included, college baseball doesn't generate enough interest to pay an additional fee to ESPN (above what I already pay to my streaming provider that includes all of the main ESPN networks). But ESPN knows college football, particularly SEC teams, DOES generate such significant interest. They aren't going to avoid leveraging that to force millions to buy their streaming service.

I agree to an extent but it wasn’t long ago that radio was the only option, which I enjoy. At least now all the games are on TV

What does that have to do with ESPN+?

A majority here pay for a TV subscription that includes ESPN and the SECNetwork

Why do we have to pay additional money to watch regional baseball?

I believe it was stated when the contract was announced that it will happen right away.

It’s already been announced. Every team will have one game broadcast on ESPN+

No doubt. Especially with OU and Texas coming in. Won’t be able to fit all the games on their family of regular networks. Not like the SEC is their only partner. I like college baseball and softball and also watch the occasionally golf tournament featured group. It’s worth $70/year.

It's $5 a month. Get one less beer with dinner next time you eat out.
