That's why Roku, FireTV, Apple TV, Chromcast, and other options exist. If you don't have Internet and are relying on the TV provider for your content you can't complain

I agree Bases Loaded has been awesome. Outside of our games I'm just keeping there.

In 2014 there is no reason to remember that. Should humans also remember life before fire as well?

actually shows just how terrible college baseball ratings must be. ESPN is all about $$$(advertising)so WNBA and college softball must bring in better ratings for them

The guy is 67 and on a fixed income. He is technically challenged. No pc at all.
I am going to try and see if he can afford it if he consolidates his att phone/cox tv with cox phone/tv/internet package and also get him a router and a roku.
Personally, I would pay for tv/internet before a home phone but I have an ooma. It is free.

It is very, very, very easy to get ESPN3 on your TV

I love espn's regional coverage FWIW.....every single game nationwide broadcast, what else can we ask for?

Espn doing an incredible job last year and this year with NCAA tourney coverage. ZERO complaints from me.

And the BasesLoaded channel is like crack cocaine for me.

College Softball is in the CWS right now. That is why all the games are on TV.

I just think its dumb and ESPN should take more thought into some of the ways they broadcast their games to make it easier on their viewing audience. They will attract more viewers this way and can get onboard with the technology of the current era.

Uhh... I'm pretty sure ESPN3 and Bases Loaded is smack in the middle of "technology of the current era"

I do feel somewhat bad for older people that may not have a computer / high speed internet. As in, elderly people.

I do think the NCAA/ESPN (who is behind this, don't get mad at SEC/LSU who had no say here) could offer the regional feed to the local area via syndication. Even if it's just to the local cable companies.

This, along with SEC Network online, is going to result in a lot more games being broadcast, however, it is being broadcast online. If you have older family/friends, now is the time to convince them to get a high speed internet connection, and a Roku.

My AppleTV stream was unwatchable last night sue to constant freezing. I tried everything. Must be a problem with my download speed through Cox.

I'm pretty tech savvy. I live just outside of Hammond. I have directv and att DSL. If it wasn't for my parents still having Cox, I wouldn't have access to espn 3.

I love the online distribution, but I don't get why ESPN and Directv haven't gotten their shite worked out.
