It should be broadcasted in the regional viewing area

I have never liked this because I'm being forced to watch what they think I want to watch. All regional coverage should be available in some format, whether on tv or streaming no matter where I live and breathe. Which, by the way, is what ESPN is doing.

I have enjoyed it since I have direct tv I wouldn't have been able to watch it if it were on COX. I only get the internet for baseball season for geauxzone and espn3. After the season is over I will probably cancel it since I am on it at work or on my phone when I need it so t's not that big of a deal to me. Another plus is the xbox app so I can have both ULL and LSU games split screen or easily switch during commercial breaks to the other game. No complaints here. I guess it sucks if your internet provider doesn't provide espn3

I'm more surprised that the two dumbasses in the booth have jobs than the regional being online only, honestly.

Wat.

You don't enjoy being told whether every. single. out was either a productive out versus a non-productive out?

Plus it's the small ball era bro, there are so many swinging bunts to enjoy.

what makes Texas/Texas A&M deserve the ESPN2 or ESPNU slot?

They have to bring in the most viewers, which Texas/Texas A&M will, to make their advertisers happy?

Yep, the younger generation is definitely spoiled. AM radio was all we had. TV coverage? World series wasn't televised and we and most folks didn't even have a TV yet.

Most folks in my old days were St Louis Cardinal fans.... no Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, or West Coast teams yet.

I am old, but NOT compuer challenged. Just connected my iPad to TV.

All I see today on ESPNU during college baseball games are direct response ads about IRS tax relief and drug company lawsuits. They can't even sell real advertising for this shite. So it's something else.

I'm 50-something and I guess I'm spoiled, too. I remember those days, but I don't miss 'em. I expect to be able to watch what I want, when I want 'cause I'm paying for it.

Exactly. When you pay Cox $220 a month and get what's called the "sports package" and then ESPN pulls this shite and people say "Oh, just go buy a Roku too," it gets very frustrating to a lot of people.

I mean, come on. I can watch a dozen horse races and have 8 channels of people hunting and fishing, and every soccer match on Earth, but I can't watch LSU play a baseball game?

I've watched every game on my Roku and I like it. But I was like a batter and a half behind, so I already knew from TD and Facebook that LSU lost and I only had one out.

I hear you, but tv viewing is definitely heading toward streaming, which means live broadcasts are gonna have some delay if streamed. Advances in technology should eventually minimize this though.
