I like the BMOP (Big Man On Podium) section:

"I would guess that if you were a red-blooded American man, you'd like to play today. I'm guessing we'll play well."

-- LSU coach Les Miles to CBS's Tracy Wolfson moments before the Hatter's team played Florida in The Swamp.

Priceless! CLM's comments could worm a dog.

Love your avatar, bdnc. Is that Cannon or Labruzzo?
And those uniforms were the best-est....EVER!

Funny. Bill King made the comment this morning that Jefferson would of scored at least once during the Fla game with his feet or at least get us where we could score.

ya know...King just might have been right. I believe one of the TV game commentators mentioned the same.

while he was awful, jj would have scored after the uf fumble. His feet would have got us a TD from the 5 yard line

big battle this Saturday. USCe is playing as good as anyone in the nation right now.

JJ didn't play poorly until the SECCG where everyone on offense played like shite until the second half. Last year in the reg season JJ played decent.

Choctaw and his crew will be descending on ESPN.com shortly. They are sworn to the death to defend Les.

Lee got a lot of praise until the Bama game. Then following 1/9, Lee was rolled into many of the conversations about the poor play of JJ. It is as if the first half of the season never happened.

The rest of the team was playin so damn good we didn't need to depend on Lee. Lee had the easiest frickin job in the world and when the team finally needed him he crumbled in the Bama game.

This season is completely different. Mett has had WRs constantly dropping catchable balls and an underachieving OL.

Labruzzo - ’66 Cotton Bowl, LSU was 7-3 playing an undefeated Ark team who had just spanked Texas 42-24. Ark scored first and it didn’t look good for the Tigers. Labruzzo scored 2 TDs and Ark would not see the end zone again.

Love the unis too and the numbers on the helmet. Yeah, i’m ole school

Yeah. He had the best game of either qb against Arky. Sorry Bruh. These are facts.

Exactly. While I love Lee and in glad he OT to erase his ghosts of 08 , he definitely had his shitty games last year. Oregon and Kentucky and Bama come to mind. The WVU game was his best game.

ironic...last year fans were saying Mett was clearly better than Lee/Jefferson and wasn't given a chance because of Miles playing favorites...Mett would have won the 1/9 game but Les stuck with JJ, now JJ would have won the Florida game that Mett didn't

I always said that Lee and Jefferson were very under rated and under appreciated by LSU fans. This team would be much better right now if either of those two were still here.

We're listed several times; all great pub of course...

LSU's passing game.

16. Heisman trophy race
Keep a coat and tie handy:

• Florida's Gillislee -- Now has three 100-yard games this season, the latest a 146-yard, 2-TD performance against LSU.

14. BMOP (Big Man On Podium)

"I would guess that if you were a red-blooded American man, you'd like to play today. I'm guessing we'll play well."

-- LSU coach Les Miles to CBS's Tracy Wolfson moments before the Hatter's team played Florida in The Swamp. He was 1-for-2 in guesses. LSU didn't play so well in the 14-6 loss (three turnovers, only eight first downs).

9. Why Vegas sends a limo for me

Well, lookee here -- an upset pick that paid off.

It's not like Florida was a huge dog to LSU (2½ points), but it took a small leap of faith to pick them over the Tigers. Anyway, I'll take anything I can get these days.

Went With: South Carolina over LSU.

I know the game is in Hatterville, but I like the toughness of the Gamecocks. And I really like their D-line

In all seriousness, this is getting out of hand. I hope the team takes it upon themselves to shut these people up.

I take this as a shot on Coach Miles and effort to hurt his/LSU's recruiting.

Ofcourse being 98th in passing O is may be doing that on its own.

I'm a positiger, but this shite is bad. There is nothing to be positive about. Some heads need to role. I think Les needs to take on the Bowden role. Recruit and manage the team. Stay out the way of O and D.

I agree. The zero offense crap has been going on way too long and although you don't want take the comments of the talking heads too seriously, it's starting to pile up. Perception becomes reality.

Lee, well I guess he isn't as good as we thought he could be.

Jefferson, well I guess he isn't as good as we thought he could be.

Mettenberger, well I guess he isn't as good as we thought he could be.

Seeing a pattern here?

that is what was so sad about last Saturday. JJ would have given us a better chance. And Lee would have won that game.

I agree that JJ would have given us a better chance to win @ Florida due to the bad OLine and WR play......but how on earth do you say Lee could have won it???? Lee would have been in the exact same boat as Mett. He was in no way the reason we lost that game. We lost due to bad Oline play, bad WR play, and very poor play calling..... How would Lee have faired any different? You really think the Oline, WR and play calling would have been better had Lee been QB???
