I guess beating 4 or 5 ranked teams (or however many it is) means nothing because we had ONE bad game and still came out on top. How could anyone make a case for Stanford being better than LSU based on the body of work?

If Cody from Al. had a smaller gut he might not have blocked the field goal last year TWICE against Tenn. If Tenn. had a kicker that could kick higher than 5 ft. they would have won. This is the SEC, any team on any given Saturday can get up to put a hurt on you! And look what has happened when an SEC team has Snuck in there "as some would put it". They have won. LSU 2007. It wasn't close. I've come to the belief that the NC should have an SEC team in there every year!!!! I won't argue that belief, but we all know we are the best.

I'm sick of this argument. Those players made a difference on that play. Look at the f'ng defensive line on that play. Tennessee had the d-line over loaded. If they had substituted properly, they're in a different formation. Granted it's still probably a bad snap. But JJ doesn't have a defender on his arse as soon the ball is snapped.
But again, if if if... The play happened. They did something illegal. We capitalized on it

Of course it's true, but so what? If Crowton could focus in a tight spot at the end, it wouldn't have mattered. Bottom line is that Crowton couldn't concentrate and Tennessee couldn't count. And that was the ballgame. We win.
