Man, it really sucks he got hurt. Don't think he was an MLB guy, but we have a title and he has a ring and place in LSU lore. I'm convinced of that. Damn shame.

Good luck to him. I didn’t track where he ended up post-LSU, but he wasn’t the same after Tommy John.

He will be extremely successful. The poise he had as a freshman was incredible. That will translate to other areas for him.

Have no doubt where ever he goes that same calm intensity will resonate into success. Super nice kid. Wish him the best.

Great guy. Got his finance degree from LSU and I'm sure close to his masters from OSU. He's left with great baseball memories. How many can say that pitched in Omaha? He's got a bright future.

Good luck to him.

That freshman year was amazing.

Walker getting hurt was such a bummer that year.

Walker was Maddux-ish, in college.

The kid could pitch.

I had to jump in. I remember when he had to leave the game injured in the CWS. I thought our chances to win it all went straight down the tubes. I think he was a difference maker. So sad that he could never recover from that injury.

That's really too bad. In a way, he reminded me of Lane Mestepay. Not overpowering stuff, but fantastic command. He didn't pitch much this year at Oklahoma State and struggled when he did. LINK
