And this is the problem with their protest IMO. The Flag and National Anthem are symbols and mean diff things to diff people. To some people, it represents the ultimate sacrifice some people have made to protect our freedom over here. To others, it’s a symbol of our country and history and pride. To others, it’s a symbol of honor and respect and loyalty all that. And to some, it doesn’t mean much.
So people interpret their kneeling for the Flag and Anthem differently because it means diff things to diff people. And that right there is the problem. Kneeling for the Anthem / Flag might not seem like it’s a big deal to some, and to some it’s a huge deal and a huge sign of disrespect.
Don’t protest by kneeling for the Flag / Anthem and then tell people what you mean by it or your intent. Because like I said, the Flag and Anthem means diff things to diff people.

If he is not signed, it's absolutely the case of being blackballed. Just for being a man with a voice and opinion opposite of others.

I can just as easily have an unpopular opinion. If I'm considering how best to express my opinion in a way that would cause others to listen and possibly be swayed by it, I don't think that I'd choose to proclaim my opinion while shitting on the American flag. Some may be a bit distracted by that and not even hear my opinion. Maybe?

i seriously doubt the owners are colluding to not hire him. they probably just dont want the headache.
tebow went though this too but i didnt hear him complain.
I will always thank ER for his play at lsu but he chose to kneel for the anthem. He said he was ready for the consequences. These are the consequences.

I agree. Disrespecting the flag is a right we have but being a right doesn't make it right to disrespect the flag and the people who gave all so he could have that right.
Be willing to accept the consequences of your actions. You did what you thought was the right thing to do. So now let the GM's and owners do what they think is right.
