Are you a veteran? Was Reid marching for improving VA benefits.
There is a small difference between a pampered athlete who has fans cheering and Hos chasing him, who plays a kids game, and makes millions and a soldier who makes peanuts and puts his life on the line for this country.

no but the overwhelming vocal majority of veterans support his right to protest. Guess they aren't Americans either.

frick him and all the others that kneeled. The whole damn thing is just stupid, act like a human and you’ll be treated like a human.

Peaceful protests are considered sub human now?
Sounds like the people whining about the protests like you are the real assholes.

Too late. Actions have consequences.

I’m not saying kneeling is subhuman, I’m talking about what they’re protesting about. Black or white, if you act like a normal human, you will be treated like such.

It doesn’t pay to argue with these idiots. You ask a simple question about the veterans that support him, and can’t get a straight answer because these people know the real answer is that they are just hateful morons.
It’s clear to anyone not filled with hate, that peaceful protest is as patriotic as right to own a gun, but it doesn’t matter. That’s not what this is about.
Never mind the fact that Reid never said he is giving up on his fight for his beliefs. Let’s just concentrate on the fact that he is gonna stop kneeling, which is what these people supposedly wanted, and is probably getting as much or more hate now than he did with the kneeling.
You know why? It’s because that’s not really the issue with which these people have a problem.

I agree with him. Do you like when unarmed black dudes get killed?

Yea it’s almost like all forms of protest, peaceful or not, aren’t acceptable. So what is it?
Makes you go hmmmmm

Slavery did not build shite in this country baw.

Eric Reid is a good guy I admire him for his beliefs, he has paid a price for standing up for others.

So surely you have examples of people here suggesting that peaceful protesting should be illegal...
Also, protesting in and of itself is not "patriotic" at all, just as owning a gun is not "patriotic" either. You are erroneously conflating very fundamental concepts.

Correct, the controversy is literally not about anything you just said.

What a sellout, shows how much he really cares about his cause to cave so quickly. Here's the thing: Chris Long, Richard Sherman, and Michael Bennett to a massive extent, even engaging in SJW schtick of his own, defended Kaepernick and the SJW cause and are currently on NFL teams. Malcolm Jenkins did what he did and is currently still on the Eagles so what I'm personally inferring from all this is that Kaep and Reid's current FA status isn't simply about the kneeling like the MSM is portraying it as, it's also about talent, reliability, durability, positive impact on winning and losing and being engaged in the pursuit of winning Super Bowls. Eric's really selling his signing prospects short if he's attributing his current status to the kneeling and not other factors. The aforementioned players proved beyond a reasonable doubt that you can protest and engage in SJW schtick and still be on an NFL team so Eric doing this is essentially pointless for his employment purposes. He's likely attempting to lay the foundation for another kneeling martyr claim as Kaep did last year.

"the issues of this country"
" But I think we’re going to take a different approach to how to be active.”
Listening to you dispense uninformed "wisdom" Eric, is a bit like me attempting to play safety in the NFL. You can't dabble around the edges and throw out SJW cliché and expect me to take you seriously. You have to educate yourself, you have to seek truth and be able to recite the facts and know your history. You can't just share a bong with Kaepernick's girlfriend and be razzle-dazzled by tits and Leftist Fundamentalist slogans and have any credibility with anybody who has actually thought about these things in depth over years and years. Being a really privileged snake-oil salesman and having a really big stage , doesn't make you any less of a snake-oil salesman.

This is such a skewed, retarded way to argue in favor of Eric Reid and pretend that veterans support him.
Yea, if you ask any veteran, they’ll probably say that they support his right to peaceful protest, as they signed up to fight for the constitution and his protests are protected by the constitution.
But I don’t know a single person who served who doesn’t think he’s a huge frickhead moron. People can do a lot of things that are supported by the constitution that they deserve to be punched in the face over. Westboro Baptist Church doesn’t suck any less just because I support their first amendment right to say whatever wacky shite they want, nor does it mean that I support their message. You don’t know what you’re talking about.

Calling what Longs and Kaepernicks dealings a schtick is pretty dumb. They’ve donated more money than most have ever made

Eric Reid: "no justice, no peace"! NFL teams: "No standing, No check"! Reid's entourage: "No check means No drank"! Reid: No Justice, No....wait a minute, no money? I'll stand!!!!

Completely agree, supporting their constitutional rights does not necessarily mean supporting their argument and the sooner people understand that the sooner logic and reason will govern as opposed to the "if it feels good, do it" mantra and the conflation of issues.
