That’s the opposing team allotment. State did not travel well for this one

What mechanism prevents LSU fans from buying an opponent’s allotment?

I was there. Overall a very quiet low energy crowd. It was that way before the game too. I do think the sun baking people until 6:30 didn’t help either

The East side lower bowl always has empty seats, and it especially clears out after halftime.

No scalding heat, no bitterly cold wind, no cupcake opponent, no morning or late-night kickoff. Those folks don't need an excuse; they're just not fans.

In the NY area, the announcers acknowledged the empty seats but remarked that people were probably "taking their last sips" other guy tried to clean it up by saying "finishing their gumbo" either way, it was noticed.

Pretty sure the New York area gets the same broadcast as the rest of the country. But yeah, I started watching the replay and noticed they said that, and they were looking at the East side. It almost never appears full on the telecasts.

It was rocking last night. It was not the noisiest overs ever heard by no means but we had a ton of fun.

Agreed. That was the most fun I’ve had at a game in a long time.

It was quiet early, but second half it got to rocking.

It looked good on TV. Empty seats weren't noticeable from the ground level shots and the crowd seemed into it as the game went on.

We have the huge stadium and can't fill it. It looks like a school in decline

I think many of the empty seats should have been tiger fans. I guess we don’t travel well.

CFB is in decline. We're still better off than all but a literal handful of other schools.

My season tickets are in section 410. Stayed the entire game. It was incredible. Screamed our asses off the whole time.

If LSU and Tennessee take care of business the next two weekends, it will be even better when Tennessee comes to town.
