A few weeks ago my step son asked me how he did after his basketball game. As we were walking across the court, I told him you could have hustled harder and completed some easy shots. He looked at me as if to say, “come on”. I asked him, “ do you want me to be honest with you, or do you want me to kiss your butt and tell you how awesome you are?” He agreed that he’d much rather have the honesty. He’s not afraid to compete because we’ve taught him that almost every aspect of your life is a form of competition, and nobody gives you a leg up because you think you deserve better.

You people that say players like LN are doing what’s best for themselves have created a culture of entitlement for athletes. How many shy away from competition because their mommas or daddies convince them that they are the best and they shouldn’t have to compete.

He’s a freaking Redshirt freshman and he’s already giving up on his team because he feels entitled to start.

Have millennials and their avocado toast ruined college football?

I guess you’d say the same of Joe Burrow right?

It’s a business man. I know you love to believe CFB is some pure passion sport where kids give their hearts to LSU because they love the school. It’s not the case man. Kids want to play football for three years and then get paychecks for it.

How is finding a better fit giving up. I think the opposite. He obviously thinks that staying was the equivalent of giving up. You weren't at practice. You have no idea what the kid was facing.

You make a good point but I'm glad we've narrowed the field. Now we can focus and be ready.

Good luck to LN and I hope McMillan stays.

Burrow is a RS Junior. Bit of a difference there

Have you ever quit a job to work somewhere else?

When Joe Burrow transfers, he's a future great.

Narcisse transfers, no chest, disloyal.

Believe it’s a little different
Borrow would be a graduate transfer... which means he has a degree. And now wants to try to play elsewhere. LN is barley 19 and barley a sophomore and has been injured and he is leaving because he is not starting as a RS freshman..

That’s not even close to a good comparison. This would be like me getting a shot at my dream job and giving up because other candidates are competing and potentially leading for said job.

So a graduate transfer who lost his job to a younger player is equivalent to a RS Freshman losing out to a Junior?

Whatever you say, hypocrite. Narcisse has his whole career ahead of him and wants a different situation. Burrow spent three years in a program and left because there was no guarantee to start. I don’t fault either. But if you’re going to fault one kid for making a personal decision, be consistent with your self righteous indignation

He did compete, imbecile, and he lost, so he's going somewhere where he can compete and win

anything to make you poor boomers feel better about yourselves though right
