Doesn’t that seem like a fundamental issue with this offense that we Need not just 1 but 2 more fullbacks than 80% of the other teams in the country?

It's not the biggest problem.
It's not good when you have only one guy to play a position, but I bet you already knew that.

Not if that guy is really good

Didn’t get hurt

And plays a position that is going the way of the Dodo in the modern offense

Yea, because LSU didnt have enough other recruits with size, speed or athleticism to double as a back up fb or te. Even les knew how to do that.

According to the “Shrimp Boat Captain”, Ensminger was the best OC available and best OC for LSU...what Bull shite!!!

If Orgeron weren’t an egomaniac and a micromanaging, OCD basket case regarding giving up control of the offense and political correctness wasn’t controlling LSU’s academic higher-ups in administration, we could have Art Briles as our OC...

Briles won two Big 12 Conference Championships at Baylor and one Conference Championship at Houston as a HC and developed a Heisman QB, Robert Griffin III - Orgeron and LSU could have Briles as our OC any time they wanted - LSU & Orgeron are NOT dedicated to beating Alabama or winning National Championships - they are more concerned with ego, control and political correctness.

Art Briles is an offensive football genius...

“ in what world was it a good idea”

In the coach O world.

In fact, Coach O has indicated that our OC has done a “great job” and our OC has said he wouldn’t change anything he’s done.

Seems both must be satisfied with having the 10th best O in the SEC.

Hmmmm quick check of the Saints Roster...

1 FB Zach Line

Sean Payton and others are old fashioned in that sense.

I’ll tell him he needs 2 to run his offense.

These personal attacks are dumb and need to stop.

Good Lord, man. Is all of that really necessary? I get that you're upset with the coach. But, are the insults necessary to make your point?

Art Briles is never going to coach at LSU and most likely won't ever coach again.

The QB had never thrown a pass at LSU and the three WRs had never caught a pass at LSU.

Everyone was on the team except burrow, curry and Marshall.

Curry got negative yardage. It was the was guys like brossette and Jefferson that shined that game.

Plus, that was game one. This is bowl practice. They aren't fresh players anymore, the season is over.

And how many TEs? you’re comparing an NFL active roster to college scholarships? Carter has a concussion earlier in the year and we couldn’t replace him.

Read the quote see that having only 1 TE and 1FB hindered our flexibility with formations. Couldn’t run goal line or as many power run formations in short yardage.

SE's mindset of play to "not loose" fits in with Coach O's philosophy. That sadsack of an offense is so predictable it's amazing we have as much offense as we did this year.

The bowl game offense will be the same exact game plan. Play not to loose.

People are dumb. LSU has 100, maybe more, available players. 85 on scholarship. Nfl is 53.

We have Moreau, Washington, McMath and Sheffer

But saying “we only had 1 FB”

So?

fricking so?

Also McMath looked good as a reciever? Washington is still alive right? So what were we missing?

Oh right, more blockers.

Because we want to run big heavy sets in the red zone because cool we’re a prostyle offense.
