They went out and hired a guy to help them. Let’s not pretend that didn’t happen
No one is saying that didnt happen.
This notion that Brady came in and did all this himself is ridiculous though.

O hired E in 2018 to fix the offense
It wasn’t fixed
If he could have fixed it he would have.
I have no doubt he wanted to fix it, but come one. He’s never coached at any level in a modern spread offense. Where was he supposed to figure that out?
Brady is the independent variable.

Here's an interesting article regarding what Ensminger was trying to do in 2018, although a full transfer over to the spread wasnt possible because they didnt have the personel.
Realy? What personally was different in 2018
Who wasn’t in the team?
The only difference between 2018 and 2019 personnel was was Brossette, Moreau and Brumsfield.
Our top 5 Receivers were all on the team
CEH was on the team.
Everyone on our OL was on the team.
Who were we missing?

Because he didn’t play the right players
He got just about everything wrong

Look at who started in 2018 vs 2019.
I'm sorry that you cant understand that a bunch of inexperienced players got better, E got more comfortable with his players, Joe got more comfortable with the team and his coaches then Brady came in and added some new stuff and coached the receivers up.
When you look at the odds stacked against them in 2018, its honestly surprising they finished 38th in points per game.

Lol. 100% Brady’s offense.
Ensminger has been coaching since 1986 and never ever ever ran an offense with these route combinations and formations.
Never!
SE is a great LSU Tiger and has been stated here and other places—loves LSU, Football and Coach O. Often sleeps in his office watching film and working on gameplans.
Every Tiger fan should applaud this.
But this isn’t his offense. It’s just not. Not once has he done anything like this since he started coaching in 1986. Not once. It’s not like this was in his super secret playbook.
None of what we ran was ever EVER in his playbook. Not his actual playbook or secret playbook.
The good news is Linehan has experience as an NFL HC and OC and should be able to help replace some of what Brady brought to the table.

Why wasn’t jamar chase in the game the series after he burned a defender for a TD?
Why didn’t Clyde play more?
Why didn’t Clyde play more?

Brady is on record as saying he didnt bring an "offense" with him.

Inexperience I would assume.
The same reason Emery didnt get much playing time in 2019 although he had some great flashes.

It’s not inexperience when you are showing up the other guys
Please stop making excuses

Go watch the games! Go look at the formations. If you can’t see the glaring difference in offense then shut the frick in.
The new stuff was most of the offense.
Well 7 overtime’s will do that.
If you look at regulation we’re averaging 39 points a game. That would hit us in the high 50-low 60s
Low fricking standards if that surprises you. It’s easy to be middle of the road

Wait. Are you seriously arguing this is Ensminger’s offense that after coaching since 1986 and never doing anything like this before all of the sudden drew up this offense???
Really?
If so I’ll just say good evening to ya.

What kind of offense does Ensminger run then?
And its common knowledge that Brady brought the bunch formation and RPO concepts, we all know that.

No I'm saying this offense was built by the staff as a whole.
My source is comments by the coaching staff throughout the season.

Lol the offense with the bunch formations, splitting the RB out like hmmmmmm I don’t know some team in New Orleans.
Running plays straight out of the Payton playbook.
Wonder how that got to Baton Rouge?
Prolly Tommie Robinson or Cregg those guys maybe? None of which, like Ensminger ever ran this type of O prior.

Where did I say Brady didnt contribute?
For the record, LSU ran alot of Eagles and Chiefs plays too, it wasnt like they were running the Saints playbook.
The staff was already trying to learn from Payton anyway, its how they met Brady if you recall.

I was on his wagon since the interim year. Everybody shite on the guy bc the Bama game didn't go well, but he jumped in there and broke all kinds of records, it was incredible, imo. I was pumped as hell when he got a second chance. But whatevs, he wuddn't talking to me.
