No there is not.

You clearly cannot tell the difference between an RPO a read option and a PA.

I'd have to rewatch it.

Here's a scouting report from 2018:

quote:

The passing game is mostly built around RPOs and quick 3-5 step drops. I haven’t seen them stretch the field much vertically though I think a lot of that has to do with protection breakdowns.

quote:

LSU will punish soft coverage. They run a lot of RPO concepts that involve Burrow checking to see if his WR has a free release. If so, then Burrow will hit the wideout on either a quick slant or a quick out. If he’s pressed, they will run the ball the opposite way. LSU hit Miami on back to back plays with this type of RPO attack with a lot of success on one scoring drive.

This is where I'm at too. Ensminger has been coaching a long time, so it's not like he's a dummy. He just didn't have the knowledge to install that kind of offense.

He also did not have all the horses he need to win this type of race. If 2019 Joe had been 2018 Joe, we do not win it all, regardless of Offense.

We’d be better of with 2018 Joe in this offense than 2019 Joe in last years offense.

For all everyone wants to talk about “Joe just got here” you can go back and watch us smoke Ole Miss week 5.

He could still make the plays when they were there. The offense just didn’t get anything for free.

are you kidding?
Stop making an idiot out of yourself. Ensminger has said it himself that he didn’t know spread like Brady.

Joe said “In January when we got the new playbook I said “that’s new and that’s new” and it was page after page.
Ensminger said “we are going to the spread, baby.” Jesus Christ. Brady installed a variation of the New Orleans Saints offense and NOTHING is more obvious than completion percentage.
A 23 y/o grad transfer worked all summer with all those talented receivers ON THEIR OWN to learn each other and the playbook routes including when plays broke down.
I’ll put it like this, LSU played 2 decent defenses in the games Ensminger called plays in 2016 post Miles and both were miserable. Then in 2018, same shite again Sr decent defenses including zero agains Bama in 2016 and 2018. ZERO.
Don’t you think Ensminger himself would have installed this offense if he had it in his pocket in 2018 instead of putting Burrow under center despite the limited off season? It would have been more than worth the risk.
Give it a rest.
O hired Brady for a reason and him and Ensminger worked great together.

Bump for the idiot that said Ensminger changed the offense. based on what O said tonight in this program before the season it was all Brady. All of it.
