And Brady said you deal with blitzes by giving your QB more passing options.

And that’s how almost every college offense that works attacks blitzes. When they blitz that leaves space. You run a quick route to that space and you’re QB hits the WR before the blitz gets to him:

exactly. sidewalk can't admit that the Ensminger/Sullivan max protect philosophy was outdated and shite.

Except that’s that what was happening.

Why did we even hire Brady?

Answer that question.

Apparently all we needed was an off-season.

If Hugh Freeze could go into Oxford and install a spread offense, I think LSU had the talent to do it last year. I doubt Leach goes into Miss State and runs anything other than a spread offense.

87th OFFENSIVE TDS PER GAME  ?
77th in yards per game
91st in yards per play  ?
79th in 3rd down conv. ?
83rd in rushing yards per carry
64th in passing yards per attempt
106th in redzone tds %
80th in passing yards per game

With an extra 41 points added to the pergame part.

We only scored over 41 in a whole game twice. Against Rice and Ole Miss.

19 points Vs Florida
22 vs Auburn
19 vs Miss State
0 vs Bama
24 vs Arkansas

Arkansas was our tenth game.

At some point the experience should help.

We hired Brady for a reason. If all we needed was an off-season we don’t go and hire Brady.

I'm not saying Ensminger didn't have value to the team but anyone that's isn't lying to themselves or doesn't have a agenda can see that Brady or someone that understands rpo/spread philosophy was needed.

so you're gonna dismissed the rest of the stats and just use ppg?

To coach the receivers.

To help modernize what Ensminger had started to develop.

To further develop the RPO.

Teach Ensminger about bunch formations, empty sets, and add to route trees.

if you understood football you'd know these stats are more indicative of a good, ball moving offense....

I get that. He was essential getting the offense installed. Ensminger was inexperienced in the design of the offense while Brady was inexperienced in being any kind of coordinator. It was a perfect fit and a great call by Coach O.

so a 10 yard td drive
and a 90 yard td drive is the same right.

87th in offensive tds per game

Well we scored 0 vs Bama
19 vs Florida
19 vs Miss State
24 vs Arkansas

That’s not a lot.

Our PPG is thrown off by an extreme statistical outlier.

And you should be looking out whether your offense can score TDs and not FGs.
