MUCH? Lol

We were 0-0 in the 4th quarter for crying out loud. Overreact much?

They wouldn't be out of it if they lost, but it sounds like we got a lot of upset secret bama fans in this thread. This could absolutely be the beginning of a decline. Secondary is garbage, no qb, rec's are average, and they lose some studs up front on d.

USC, Texas, and FSU all had 5 and 4 start recruits at the time of the decline. They all lost that edge and drive. You loss that sense of work ethic after being on top for so long and thinking no one can beat you know matter what. As much as we don't want to say it happened in the end with Les.

Tiger voodoo is exactly right. Even with 2 losses bama is in, and probably with 3. What this game showed was In an evenly called game bama is mortal. Sec fans know this but no one believes us. A mobile qb is the key to beating Saban

I agree with this but one can beat Bama with a pro-style QB. We should have with Mett if Honey Badger had been playing rather than a true FR.

Not sure why you are getting down-voted but I agree. There is precedent with USC for a total collapse, but the era of "Bama is invincible, deal with it" is over. They can and will be beat by more teams now.

Spurrier was pretty dominant in his time but he only won 1 natty.

This is absurd. They are already preseason ranked #1. Probably will finish with the #1 recruiting class. And Hurts will have 1 year of maturity.

Doubt it. One last second touchdown doesn't take down a dynasty.

Tell that to Miami Hurricanes after 2003 Fiesta Bowl loss to OSU. Miami has never been the same.

Think that might have something to do with the fact that they hired someone (Coker)that wasn't qualified for the job.

That team was built off of Butch Davis, who left for the NFL right before they won the NC.

probably not. it's just as likely to intensify his resolve. bama has lost before. mack brown had quit recruiting and lost in the fire in his belly; ditto with Bowden. until we see bama go down in recruiting there is no end to his era. sorry.

All of this is just delusional. They have arguably the best coach in CFB and have been a recruiting machine for the better part of a decade. That's a recipe for sustainable success. LSU is perfectly capable of rising up but betting on the Bama decline is a little much.

I just hope this loss doesn't result in Auburn being put on probation. That would just be cruel.

I wouldn't write the obituary just yet. It was very competitive and could have gone either way, unlike 1/9/2012.

Vince Young begs to differ. UT ended the USC dynasty after the last second touchdown in 2005

They also lost a lot of key offensive stars and coaching staff. Alabama wins with a bunch of seemingly nameless defenders. Not household names like Reggie Bush

Well, that may be, but I see no relationship to Alabama. Further, Les Miles is a below average coach. I am glad he is gone. Long over due.

Maybe not but losing that way does HURT and you know it does.

They cannot live with a rabbits foot in their behind forever.

Now the Coup de Gras would be Saban leaving them. :nana:

Wow, guess you thought the same thing a couple years ago when tOSU beat them...and, how did that work out for you...
Bama will still be the BIG elephant in the room for several years to come, sad to say...
