It happens to all the great coaches at one time or another. Happened with Mack Brown at Texas and with Bobby Bowden at FSU. I believe we just watched the dynasty at Bama start to crumble. Hang on everyone great times ahead for LSU.

Probably not. But I hope.

Wishful thinking.
They will be playing Ohio State again next year in the national championship.
No team in the SEC has shown me yet that they are ready to overtake Bama

Doubt it. One last second touchdown doesn't take down a dynasty.

wishful thinking as they have beat us 6 times and yes I said 6 times in a row

I don't give a rat's arse what Nick does - leave or stay - we need to get good enough to beat anyone not for them to come down to our level

We need to become a much better football team to beat Bama !

Not even close!

They are still head and shoulders better than anyone else in the SEC and that will not change overnight..

Because they lost the national title in the last second, snapping a 30023488 game winning streak? Yeah, that adds up.

I'll believe it, when I see it, unfortunately I don't think this is the case. BUT, they could lose to FSU next year and be out of it week one.

1 loss will NEVER eliminate Bama.

The playoff ensured Saban will be in it virtually every single year.

A 1 loss Bama will always be top 4 unless there are 4 undefeateds, and even then they could still jump a weaker P5 champ if the loss to the SEC champ was close, which it very likely would be (haven't lost by more than a touchdown since 2008).

There is just too much respect/bias for that program. We see it already when they lose they only drop a spot or two.

2 losses will always be needed for Bama to be left out (which hasn't happened since 2010).

It's fricking depressing when you step back and face that reality.

It's one game. They finished #2 this year and will probably have the #2 recruiting class. Hell, they'll probably even manage to get a rule or two changed in the off-season. Nothing has ended unfortunately.

Everybody stop with this. You're getting your hopes up. They're still going to get nothing but 5 stars and will be in the playoff until Saban retires. He's to good a coach for them to "crumble". The same thing was said when they lost to Ohio state a few years ago and they won the ship the next year. At WORST they lose 2 games in a season while he's still at the helm

Vince Young begs to differ. UT ended the USC dynasty after the last second touchdown in 2005.

People were saying the exact same thing when they lost to Ohio state. They'll be right back at it

Tiger voodoo is exactly right. Even with 2 losses bama is in, and probably with 3.

What this game showed was
In an evenly called game bama is mortal. Sec fans know this but no one believes us.

A mobile qb is the key to beating Saban
