now tell us why it's happening to the most loved team in the state?
Once we experienced success people bought up tickets so they can say the go. There’s a huge contingent of people that arent invested past that. So you get people “beating traffic” etc

My daughter is a Sophomore at LSU and she said that a lot people were trying to stick it out, but the heat was at a point that it became hard to breath. Especially at the start when the stadium was full. Yesterday was an exceptionally hot day. Don’t blame the fans, blame the moron who signed the deal to have a game at 2:30 in South Louisiana…in early September.

Well, here is a tip on success - it breads more attendance, not tapping out
LSU has played in 4 National title games in the last 21 years. Only Alabama is ahead of us in that catagory of success over that period of time, though Georgia is coming on and will surpass us soon.
My daughter goes to Alabama, we attend games when we can to see her cheer on the sidelines. (long story, but I am LSU blood and always will be)
..Alabama fills that damn stadium and the game day experience is pretty dang strong... the lights, the sound, the entire weekend experience is strong...
I hate to say it, but the excuses here are just that, really bad ones.
Every SEC team is going a better job of filling up their stadium , the TV says I am correct!
I've said repeatedly here, nobody takes me seriously about campus planning for the future at LSU,
I strongly believe LSU needs to invest in 4 star Hotels, Bars and places to eat close to the stadium for shade, air conditioning and relaxing for the fans to enjoy, it needs to be clean, first class and safe, ...
Getting baked all day in the old paved parking lot has limits on what a human considers "fun". Lights and sound don't matter when you are toasted before the game.
My revelations about the investments need for LSU game day are only coming from my personal experiences...

That would be ESPN/ABC.

Most UCLA fans seemed to "heat it out" until the end of the game!

Where were you?
Did you see they had probably over 100 people needing medical assistance due to the heat?

Bad straw man is bad
LSU should not be fielding a team this awful every year
We were lucky to go 9-3 because we had one of the best QB’s of all time, we’d have been 4-8 without JD last year

I bought 12 large bottles of water before halftime; it was as hot as I could remember. I do not blame anyone for leaving early. They didn't leave early because of the product on the field or the coaching to make a statement, it was just F^&*ing hot.

I was there and I stayed. I couldn’t understand why infants and little kids were there. Eventually, the parents left with the kids

We used to tailgate all over campus under the oaks. The heat wasn’t a problem.
LSU killed the party.
It’s more like a state fair than the old gameday atmosphere now. They want to cram everyone around the stadium and suck more money out of us.

I’m guilty of leaving early when the game was in hand. This was done for one reason only, the traffic leaving the stadium. I have to cross the bridge and I’ve waited 3-4 hours to get to it after the game ends.

my 4 year old was close to passing out from heat exhaustion, but yeah we should have stayed and just let it happen!

Why in the hell would you even bring a 4 year old to that? Stupid.
