His only miss, was a follow up tip in attempt that he tried to dunk with one hand.

He was bumped on the play by one of his teammates face hitting his elbow. Teammate went to the dressing room.

He's crazy explosive.

Waters is going to average 5 alley oops a game next year with him the big boys we're bringing in. They can all play above the rim.

Man these all star games certainly leave zero room for defense outside the occasional steal no one is play hard for and the even more rare block

Williams literally was waiting underneath the basket for put backs with no one within 4-5 feet of him

Was the only shot he missed the one that he banked off the backboard to himself for the slam?

This is true, but you can see his toughness and energy, something we truly lacked down low since Mickey and Martin left.

not sure because I didn't see the entire thing start to finish
but would be hilarious if so
I didn't see him miss a shot

He's a shorter Tyrus Thomas. He's not a guy you are going to necessarily run your offense through, but he should be a terror on the glass and lobs. He should also be a decent shot blocker, but I don't know if he quite has the timing of Thomas or Mickey. A lot of guys can jump. Only a special few can time up shots time after time.

Wade will never have to worry about his effort. It may be more of a case of trying to control his energy to stay out of foul trouble. Nonetheless, he's going to try to dunk and block everything.

That open escort to the rim we saw this past season should effectively be closed now with both Williams' down low.

Nah. He got called for a traveling on that play; so there was no shot attempt.

He missed a put back dunk early in the 2nd half I believe.

Also interesting of note, since others are talking about his energy; he actually took a charge during the 2nd half of the game. I know that is generally not a huge deal; but to do it in an all-star game setting, of all places, just goes to show what his natural tendencies are. And taking charges are considered gritty, hustle plays. The commentators even took note of him doing it in an all-star game and one said, "he took a charge? Might as well give him the MVP now. Probably the best defensive play all game."

My body is ready! Hopefully we can find a veteran transfer to start at the 3 and maybe a better 4 guy than Sims off the bench but Rachal should be improved next season and can play the 3-4

Lol our starters are going to be young but coming off that bench with some Jrs and Srs

He’s off to the NBA/G-League. Not even enrolled at LSU right now

Is this known for sure or is this just an internet rumor? You are only the 2nd person I've seen on here say it; and no one else is even hinting to it.

It would be a shame if it is true. Sampson definitely needs another year of development. Also, this team, while it will be very talented, definitely could have used his talent and experience next year. I'm sure he is looking at how Blakeney performed this year in G-League and thinking that can be him; but I would argue Blakeney was much more polished in his game last year than Sampson is now. Many were saying Blakeney should have stayed for one more year; but I think that was mostly for selfish reasons more than for his benefit, so they could see how he would do under Wade.
