Commissioner Sankey,
I am appalled to read below's article and your public comments about LSU. In a situation that you and Jeremy Foley clearly mismanaged from the beginning, you criticize LSU in an effort to deflect blame from yourself and absolve yourself from responsibility. It is clearly a failure in leadership, and I request an official apology to LSU and its administration.
LSU was scheduled to play at Florida Saturday October 8th. Despite multiple options being available to play the game on the scheduled weekend (and LSU willing to do whatever was necessary to play the game), you and Mr. Foley allowed the game to be cancelled/postponed. By now, in hindsight, I'm sure you realize that decision was in error.
To make matters worse, you and Mr. Foley then try and point to LSU as the "bad guy." Is it really any surprise that LSU did not want to suffer (financially and otherwise) because of your initial error? LSU's position was very reasonable and logical ... We're not giving up $21 million because of a bad decision that LSU tried to prevent and a situation that was completely, 100% avoidable. LSU was put in a bad situation that you and Mr. Foley put LSU in, and to top it off you criticize LSU. What planet are you living on? ... this is outrageous!
There are two parties to blame here: yourself and Florida AD Jeremy Foley. It is absolutely appalling that, in an effort to save your own job, you make public comments like below criticizing LSU and Joe Alleva.
As stated above, I request an official apology to LSU and its administrators. If you are unwilling to do that, I request your official resignation as SEC commissioner, effective immediately.
Thanks,

Mr. Foley,
I watched as you again threw LSU and its administration "under the bus" in your Thursday press conference regarding the rescheduling of the LSU-Florida game.
It is appalling to me, and certainly speaks to your character, that you continue to intentionally try and make LSU out to be the bad guy in a situation that you single-handedly created and manufactured. You made a decision regarding the originally-scheduled LSU-Florida game, you got roundly criticized nationally for your decision, yet you never once took ownership of said decision. Instead of admitting your own motivations and failure of leadership to plan accordingly, you decided to point the finger at LSU in an effort to save face.
You may be a good man deep down, I do not know and will probably never know. But I do know that you lost my respect throughout this situation. Instead of being truthful and forthcoming with the public, you decided to deflect blame and point the finger elsewhere, at LSU and its administrators. In a situation that Florida (and you as its representative) deserved every bit of criticism and blame, you thought it would be best to drag LSU's name through the mud. I'm sure LSU administrators were stubborn in the end and, as you say, "drew a line in the sand." How can you blame them for not wanting to lose a dime over a problem that you single-handedly created?
I would demand an apology, but what's done is done. I hope that you realize that your actions not only affect the University of Florida and Louisiana State University, but also affect the fans of both schools that care deeply about those two programs.
Sincerely,

That is incredibly lame you would waste your time. If you think these even get read or make it to any of the recipients, you are almost as dumb as these e-mails themselves.

Lame? Maybe. But they definitely get read, and responded to most of the time.
If you're not interested, fine, move along. But there are plenty of people that are.

If everyone had this mentality, nothing would ever get done.

Call a guy lame for sending a couple emails?
It's like writing a letter to the editor in the paper. Gets a point across, lets the powers-that-be know that the masses are paying attention, and takes very little time and effort in the era of electronic communication.

It definitely wasn't my best work, honestly kind of quickly threw them together, but nonetheless I feel better... I've done my part, lol

You should have demanded instead of requested his resignation. Shows more power and dominance in your words.

I could make a few language and grammar edits, but good effort nonetheless.
At the very least, hopefully receiving enough backlash will get them to just shut the frick up with their slanderous bullshite.

Foley and Sankey know what they did and they know what's at stake. They don't need a letter to explain it. Any finger pointing at LSU is basic damage control. You won't get an apology and you certainly won't get a resignation.
With that said, your passion isn't lost on me, my friend.

The longest journey begins with that first step.

At the end of the day, it will be more effective to point out his incompetence to the Universtity Presidents. It will not be long before his ineptness will again show up and impact league revenues in future bad deals. At the end of the day, it is about money for the league and this bozo is going to jeopardize significant revenue thorugh his lack of leadership, preparedness and negotiating skills. He needs to be replaced for the good of the league and it has become obvious with his handling of this fiasco; before, during and after the "event". That is what really needs to be reinforced.
