Some of y'all are delusional. There's no reason to believe Ricks staying here would have made him a better player rather than going to lay for the greatest coach of all time. Max probably wouldn't be our starter this year either.
There's no evidence that either of them would have become better or boosted their draft stock by staying.

If he can’t start at Alabama, why would a NFL GM pick him with a 1st or 2nd round selection? Kid will have no coaches vouching for him. Corey Raymond called him a diva.
