I was at that game. Had a good time except for the rain. We were right below the Bucs pirate ship. Ate some good Cuban food, saw the manatees, went to the beach.

Don't forget:

Stanford
Notre Dame
Memphis

LSU is way outside looking in.

The AAC Champion does not have an automatic bid. Here is the stipulation:

quote:

If The American's champion is the highest ranked from among the "Group of Five" conferences, it will receive a bid to either the Cotton Bowl, the Peach Bowl, or the Fiesta Bowl. If the team is ranked in the top four at the end of the regular season, it will take part in the College Football Playoff.

The last time that I remember LSU Penn St was when Joe Paterno was still coaching. The field conditions were the worst I had ever seen when not raining or snowing. A true pasture of a field. We lost.

As long as we don't play Penn state. They would beat our arse this year. We can beat Michigan and Michigan state possibly.

Yep. AAC Champ (undefeated UCF) will get into Cotton.

LSU isn't going to the Cotton.

I hope that Tiger fans embrace the Outback Bowl and travel in droves, especially with the Saints playing in Tampa on Dec 31, the day before the Outback Bowl.

So you just take it for granted that every LSU fan is a Saints' fan? Louisiana's football TEAM is LSU!

LSU vs Michigan St or Northwestern doesn't move the needle for me

Northwestern would be interesting, has LSU ever played them?
