It's an Alcoholics Anonymous quote. Also, seeing something happen once and expecting it to happen the same way every following time is the definition of stupidity. Also, a clear lack of misunderstanding the concept of small sample sizes.
If you flip a coin 10 times and it comes up heads every time, is it insane to flip the coin again and think you have a 50/50 shot at getting tails? Of course not. That's just understanding math.
