Man, Ehlinger, like Burrow, is everything I love about college football . He’s the second best QB we will see all year and gritty as hell. Hopefully we will see him on his back in crunch time.

Dude is a baller. But he hasn’t seen a defense like LSU’s.

He’s probably one of the top 3 QB’s in the country, dude. Did you watch any football last year? Kid can flat out ball.

I find it very puzzling. I do not view him as a Heisman candidate.

Also, FTR he completed 65% of his passes last year for 25 TDs and only 5 INTs and had QBR of 147.8.

And also rushed for 482 yards and 16 more TDs.

If he puts up similar numbers as last year and Texas wins the Big 12 he will likely be a finalist.

All goes back to money. Helps to hype up the LSU game for ratings saying "Heisman candiate showdown".

Or maybe Ehlinger is actually really good?

Nahhhh that'd dumb. It's definitely a conspiracy.

Big 12 defenses have manufactured 4 of the last 8 Heisman Trophy winners. Basically the best returning big 12 quarterback is the front runner by default.

He puts up good stats vs below average defenses. His stats vs UGA really weren’t great and Baker didn’t even suit up. Our defense is better than the Dawgs.

I'm way more worried about his legs.

He'll get tough yards, but he's not running for 1-2 hundred yards in a game. He's just not that type.

But he's really good at keeping drives going. 3rd and short, you know he's going to bring it. Inside the 10, he's going to be running.

Right, but he ran well in the RZ when it counted. Think he had three TD's rushing.
