Seems like a few of these players are a season away from being able to run the offense wade has them playing.
Excellent point, My Man. Freshmen and sophomores - and DD.

Not having to switch to a guard defensively would help also, he picks up a couple of his fouls each game in that situation. Need to protect him in that instance and work that screen in a traditional manner and let him switch when it involves a 4 and a 5.

Last night, O’Neal didn’t get any PT. What’s going on with that? He needs to spell Reid more often.

He’s not purely a back to the basket center they need to allow him to stretch the floor more. Unclog the paint

Would love to see them get him more involved, maybe a back screen from the high post with him rolling back to the goal for an alley oop, something to get him some confidence. He gets some confidence, he'll play faster and more aggressive.
The offense isn't totally engineered to work through a low post guy but they certainly could help him and the offense out by involving him a little more and not just in the high pick and roll scenario.

Can we also install another offense. It’s not that difficult to do. The one we are running is not working with our personal.

I don’t know where we get more offense from. If you look at the options, it’s really not a case of guys just not living up to their potential offensively, this roster is just full of guys who can defend but not score efficiently.

I guess the most realistic answer is Days gets going. He shot 39% from 3 in conference last year, he’s shooting 25% this year. 50% from the field last year, 37% this year.

I guess the next thing is you tell Murray he’s got to expand his offensive game and take on a bigger role. But he’s kind of done that the last two games (17 pts, 50% from the field, 14 attempts) and while I would say the results from him have been good, they really haven’t for the team.

Yeah I didn't expect Efton to completely light the world on fire from the start, but he's been a disappointment IMO. Thought he would be better than this.

The lack of basketball IQ is amazing. Is this because of AAU/ travel basketball? I'm not familiar with basketball at the youth level in today's world.

With travel baseball you see some of the same issues with kids who are really good playing on teams with other good kids, but their fundamentals aren't the best and they win games strictly on out "athleting" the other team.

Efton's problem is foul trouble because the team keeps leaving him exposed with moving screens and bad switches on defense.

On the moving screens the guards move way too soon. You see Tari jump out of the way several times a game but Efton doesn't have the agility to do that.

Offense overall: Days needs to work inside far more often and lay off the 3's when they aren't going down. The team is getting demoralized by all the bricks. I even saw players just turn away from him instead of passing to him several times last night.

ETA: Tari is horribly dependent on his right hand. The SEC teams are playing to that and for sure the NBA will lock him down with that. I thought he was a lock for the draft, but he should really spend his last year working on that before moving on.
