This can go both ways. Only when people bring up the facts about O's past and the mistakes he made this past year. I'm not a fan of making blanket statements about the upcoming year or personal attacks though.

OK but what O did 10 years ago means NOTHING as far as how he will do at LSU... Sure he made mistakes but so did Miles.............. I was hoping for the team being better than when miles was coach... I would think if you fire a coach that wins 9 games a year you would want to get A coach who could win 10 games a year and more... It WAS NOT THE RIGHT HIRE... BUT he is still the coach of the team I root for and will hope he makes the right choices to make LSU A championship team....

I have said over and over that it was the wrong hire... BUT he IS the coach for the team root for and I will STILL cheer for them no matter who the coach is..................

I get it. I would only disagree in the fact that to me it does matter what he did 10 years ago when he repeats those mistakes this past year. The optimist in me hopes he can learn from the mistakes he made this past year and will let the guys on staff that do have a lot of experience help him. The realist in me doesn't think it's going to happen, but that's just my opinion.

I'm talking about the whole letting his coaches coach thing mainly. But, I really don't want to start listing all of the things I think he did wrong again. It's just been beaten into the ground and it's pointless to keep bringing it up now. If the same things happen again next year, then that's a different story.

Watch Saban, Dabo, Smart, Herman, Fisher, Urban, Richt, Lincoln Riley...then watch Orgeron.

I agree with you. I wanted him gone before he was hired. I’m just predicting what the spin will be from the powers that be and the usual media suspects
I think the only way to approach the situation is to fire Alleva next year if Orgeron fails on the field or in recruiting.
Either way, whether Alleva is fired or not, I think Orgeron will be here for a third season. I just don’t see Alleva firing him next year, and I don’t see us firing an AD and head coach the same year.
