Orgeron: We trade between seafood and chicken/sausage, but mom's gumbo recipe is the best.

Orgeron: I-20 corridor has been good to LSU, and 7 of our early signees came from the 318 area code. Can't give Coach Steve Ensminger enough credit.

Orgeron: We needed some JUCO talent, and got two highly ranked OL from that level.

Orgeron: The HS coaches know they can trust us to be Louisiana first. Coach Ensminger went to LSU, I went to Northwestern State. They know we have Louisiana's best interest in mind.

Orgeron: We visited 21 homes in 16 days, so it was difficult but our assistants got it done. Totally focused on Notre Dame now.

Orgeron: Jeff Grimes will be a head coach one day because of his characteristics. Handled the transition of finishing his recruiting here before leaving for BYU perfectly. Wish him nothing but the best.

Orgeron: Never can tell if staff changes are complete. None of the current coaches have offers that I know of, but if someone were to leave we have a plan.

Orgeron: All credit to the players for turning things around after the Troy loss. Devin White and Rashard Lawrence deserve a lot of credit for that, among others.

Orgeron: Our DL has played well down the stretch. Notre Dame has a dual threat QB who presents another problem. We believe in our game plan on both sides of the ball, and expect an exciting bowl game as it should be.

Orgeron: Devin White as a 250 pounder in high school ran a 10.6 100 meter. That's incredible.

Orgeron: Joe Alleva has been fantastic to me. We meet every week, anytime I need him, he's there

Orgeron: I love football, and I love people. Been coaching over 30 years, and I've never worked a day. I love what I do, how can you have a bad day being the coach at LSU?

Ponamsky clearly gave O a script for that.

I'm not listening but I wonder if he mentioned Canada at all. Sure did gush over Ensminger.

And whatever, some of you are straight up in denial that Canada is either out or they want him out and just can't figure out an exit strategy yet.

He said none, but did not deny or confirm is OC. Rantards heads explode.

"Ensminger will be the next OC at LSU after Canada leaves."

"Ensminger will call the offense in the bowl game."

Don't know how the rant will spin this one, but it will get spun into something.

I'll grab some popcorn now to watch the show.

Not denial. I think there is a decent chance Canada isnt coaching at LSU next season. I refuse to buy into some of the rants made up theories though.

We're all going to turn this into a Canada thing, aren't we? I'm just glad to hear that Raymond doesn't have any serious offers luring him away. We REALLY need to close with Surtain and Joseph (and hopefully Goodrich).

I mean.. the call in show after Troy was pretty rough, coach. The slap on the wrist from the higher ups. The supposed fallout with the coaching staff and players.. That would all put a damper on my "day."

100% chance.

What should be a 4 page thread, of basic coach speak comments, will turn into a 50 page thread about when and why Canada is leaving. Based on these comments, that said nothing about Canada leaving.

What about Aranda? He didn't mention him. Damn it, he must be leaving too.

I'm confused now. If he doesn't mention them does it mean they are leaving? What does it mean if he does mention them? What does it mean if he's asked and doesn't give a clear answer either way? I don't think like a rantard, so I cant fully understand.

Perhaps your sarcasm meter is turned off.

So glad he could talk about his gumbo recipe. Really makes me shed a tear that we have one of us leading the tigers.

I can see where Coach O is coming from on this quote.

I have bad days at work and always still can see many parts of my existence to be grateful for having.

I'm not over nearly as large an organization as Coach O but as an optimist I get what he's saying.

Put another way: My worst day as an OT Baller is better than 90+% of the world's population's best day and I'm really aware of that fact.
