quote:

Ed Orgeron told @OTB_ESPN that true freshman QB Max Johnson had "one of the top plays" of the day yesterday.

Johnson kept the ball around the right end and went "for about 80."

"Max is about 6-5, but he's got unbelievable speed." #LSU

I'm sure the defense had the green light to hit the quarterbacks.

Probably got to the second level and they just let him run it through

Coaches do a lot of fluff during this time, maybe not as much fluff as Miles used to do but still they will embellish when they can

Miles used to just get up on the podium and make up stats on the spot that contradicted itself

“Well QBs had an excellent day, they went 34-37 for 406 yards and 6 TDs and no turnovers.

Defense also did great, 4 interceptions and only gave up 200 yards!”

Probably 2nd or 3rd since that’s what Johnson is running at this point.

Maybe not.
Don't we practice 1-O vs 2 D.
2-0 vs 1-D
3-o vs 3-D

I hope Johnson has a great knowledge of the offense and can execute. At some time, this season, we will probably need him. Burrow was fortunate he never was seriously injured.

Remember before the 2015 and 2016 seasons when Miles would brag about Brandon Harris torching the Defense... no way in hell that dude was torching Tredavious White or Jamal Adams

is that where Justin was supposed to be? that would explain why he ran that way. maybe he just followed Justin on his way out.

THEY ARE IN HELMETS AND SHORTS FOR GOD’s SAKE.
I could run for 80 yards too if no one is allowed to touch me..
Still, great job Max. I guess.

It’s practice! Adams and White might be half-assing it.

Anyone know if his dad was fast?

I remember watching him play but everyone then just threw from the pocket.
