Why is it obvious? Nothing against razer, but you are assuming he is correct. He might be close to sources and know what he is talking about, but at the same time he just might be some dude posting some 3rd hand information he heard from someone who heard from some guy who use to be Coach O's friend in high school.

Oh ye of little faith. Actually I just don't wanna overstep here and end up pissing off my source until I have clearance. It is what it is.

I just confirmation that the new hires will in fact be announced before spring practice starts. I can't say anymore about it though.

Yes. Craig had serious issues Malzahn and their dispute is widely known among Auburn fans like me who keep up with this stuff on a daily basis. Not surprised at all that he got let go. Craig is known to promote himself over the team. Also, he is ultimately vying for an OC position so not sure hiring a new OC went over well with him.

Pigskin, you guys are gonna be elated!!! These are walk off grand slam hires. I wish I could tell you guys who they are right now, but if I disclose this information, it could torpedo the entire thing and those involved would get mad and back out bc it got leaked on a message board. I happen to know both guys read tigerdroppings frequently.

I'll confirm the hires for you guys right after they're announced at the press conference. Relax and trust me.

Totally agree with you on the miles assessment, the first words out of his mouth when he hired someone was that they were a great recruiter. Don't take my comment wrong, it's very important to have talent but you have to coach it also and that's where miles' hires lacked (coaching ability). If there was friction then he did the right thing. I think Canada and orgeron are all about out scheming a team and wants coaches who are all in.
