Saban came to Long Beach High School when I was there in 03. He was recruiting Xavier Mitchell I believe. I remember leaving my class to run up to the office for something and passing him and Coach Harden in the hall. I had a 2001 SEC Championship shirt on and he said "Hey! Nice shirt." I didnt realize who it was until I had passed him and I literally just stopped in my tracks
He was a tiny fricker

I was leaving basketball practice and Saban, and someone else, were in the parking lot walking to the door. They were recruiting a kid who ended up going to Tennessee.
