Point is, if you save your ace for the second game, you had better win the first.

Another big mistake they made was running their mouth in the newspapers about it. Southern Miss players and coaches were pretty hot about it. That was the year before USM went to the CWS. They had a really strong team that year.

We are in the 5th best rated Conference. We finished 3rd by 1 game back of a 1st place tie. One of those teams we dismantled in the conference tourny (South Alabama).

And LSU is in the SEC-the #1 conference. LSU finished first in the West & 2nd overall, beating the overall champion in the tournament championship game. Now how did ulala do in their 5th best conference tournament championship game? Yeah, just what I thought.
Enjoy your team's success just don't come over here bragging about finishing 3rd in the 5th best conference & talking smack about the premier baseball conference, program, & fans.

The penis envy is present in this thread.

We all know ULL doesn't completely suck; they made the tournament. Then again so did Florida so you never know. We're just in completely different leagues, especially this year. Yet the delusional ULL fans will shite talk all week and somehow find a way to turn their inevitable beatdown into bashing our "Walmart fanbase".

I'll only be offended if they call this a "rivalry matchup"

LOL at ULL. Our baseball attendance is like half of their football attendance. Most pathetic and dick riding school in LA by far and becoming a stain on the beautiful city of Lafayette. There are more LSU fans/square mile in Laffy for a reason: ULL. Is. Totally. Irrelevant.

so the million dollar question, does USL save Robichaux or throw him Friday?

They better not play around...start him in game one.

Robichaux does not do well against LSU. I wouldn't be surprised to see him throw on either friday or staurday. He's their ace, but they normally throw him on saturday.

As a ragincajuns fan it kills me when our fans act like little brother around this site. It's a Great place but would be greater if we didn't feel like we have to impress Lsu fans all the time. All that being said ull has its best team since 07 but Lsu is still better. I think robe has to start the first game. If the Cajuns want to win this thing guys are going to have to step up and be big time. To win a regional you have to beat everyone, not just LSU

Nola is scary good. I would be shocked if we get more than 2 runs off him. We have dominated sub par pitching and struggled against top tier pitching so our numbers are certainly skewed. Plus we have no depth in the rotation. I say we squeak by against Sam Houston and then lose twice to LSU. We would have had a shot against someone like Miss St but LSU pitching is too strong.

And there's the deal.

Whoever we faced on Saturday was gonna see Nola.

Looks like it'll be you guys.

I have consistently voted UL in the top 15 all year on my td.com poll. Vandy got screwed by having their regional matchup with UL's regional.

I was about to come at you with some witty response about how stupid you are.
