This coming from a ULM fan? LMAO! We swept ULM out of 2 series this year! That's 6, count em, 6 wins and 0 losses to ULM. Go back into your hole loser.

Why don't you go buy that CWS shirt you posted about earlier so you can wish ULM actually made the field instead of sucking arse this year.

dude just shut up. How many LSU fans are on the cajuns board boasting?

We earned our rankings just like yall did. Sorry dude... we are better. Not every year, but this year, yes. Youd have to be an idiot to think diff.

The reason why you cant judge off of one game is because of the pitching. So yeah throw Austin against us, and if yall win, you will be doing the same bs you are calling our fans out for.

Honest question, where do you think ULL would have finished in the SEC?

Let's say instead of Texas A&M joining the SEC, the Ragin Cajuns we a new member. Playing A&M's conference schedule, where do u think you finish? 30 SEC games, how many would you win?

If LSU was in the Sun Belt, something tells me we would have finished better than third.

I'm not saying y'all aren't better than us. Clearly, without a doubt, LSU is the better overall baseball team. I will admit that fairly easily.

What I was trying to convey in the first place was that we are not a weak team like some here have been saying. I just found it ridiculous.

We have an RPI of 22 for a reason, because the competition we have played has been good. Not SEC every weekend good, but good nonetheless. The Sun Belt has 4 teams in the regionals... that's tied with the Pac-12 right after SEC and ACC.

I'm not comparing to LSU because obviously LSU has higher numbers... I'm comparing to other teams in the regionals. The fact that some on here think we are a weak 2 seed is pretty funny when you look at all of the 2 seeds resumes.

Just trying to get a little respect for our team. Not trying to convince you guys we are better than LSU, just trying to convince you guys we are a worthy opponent in this regional. That is all.

they arent as good top to bottom. So if they win one freaking game against us, will they come on here saying they are better than LSU? The answer is Yes. So why cant we say we are better after already beating them?

Gotcha, yall are the second best team in this regional. Your record and rpi shows that. Still doesnt mean its not a weak regional.

Just change your name again, that gave you so much respect last time. Better yet, throw at more batters when you are getting your arse beat on the field, that also worked well last time.

You'll get respect when you earn it with your actions, not by telling everybody why you deserve it.

With that pitching staff, their ceiling would be Kentucky's record.

I was actually thinking more along the lines of an Ole Miss type finish. 15-15 seems doable with our offense.

Your offense would not be anywhere near as productive with an SEC schedule. Remember what Glenn did in Laffy? That would have happened a lot.

I will admit, the year we made it to Omaha after taking down #1 Seed South Carolina in the Super Regional we heard nothing but love from LSU fans while in Omaha. We seemed to earn most of your fans respect that season.

Needless to say, that respect quickly faded away not too long after. I guess we have to get back to Omaha to get anymore respect from you guys. What would have been epic is if we would have beaten Stanford in that last game and matched up with LSU for the national championship.

Just play the game hard and compete with class. You don't even have to win to earn respect. But when you come into Alex Box Stadium determined to "not take any crap", then you start throwing at batters because they hit home runs and the crowd is cheering, then you lose that respect. It doesn't show how tough you are, it shows a lack of character and the knowledge that deep down, you know that you can't beat the guys in purple and gold. Sure Matt Heath was hot-dogging a bit, but if you want to shut him up, how bout you get him out?

FWIW I completely agree with that statement. I don't like when teams start to play dirty. But, thankfully that was a long time ago and was the reason both teams weren't allowed to play each other for 4 or 5 years. Too much bad blood between the players.

Look, I just want to safely get past Sam Houston so we get our shot at taking down LSU. Our only hope of coming out of this regional alive is if we send LSU to the losers bracket. Because if we have to go through the losers bracket we are pretty much done.... our pitching staff is just not very deep.

Now if Austin Robichaux can pull a gem off, and we are able to muster up 1 or 2 runs on Nola... this just may happen. But I still wouldn't feel too great about our 3rd or 4th best pitcher trying to beat LSU on Sunday.

So those are my true feelings about this regional. Sorry for all the shat talking earlier.

They will be looking ahead to LSU and save Robe for LSU. Sam Houston State might put them in the losers bracket before we get our shot

My best guess would be Ryan Wilson. But it could very well be Cody Boutte.

Our normal rotation is Robichaux Friday, Boutte Saturday, and Wilson on Sunday. But right now, Wilson has been performing much better than Boutte. Boutte has given up runs in bunches this year... I just don't trust him vs. a very solid Sam Houston team.

I honestly wouldn't mind throwing our Ace vs. Sam Houston just to be safe but then we'd have little to no shot of competing with LSU the rest of the way. If our main goal is to just advance to the winner's bracket then yes throw Robichaux... but if our main goal is to try and win this regional... our best option is to save Robichaux for LSU.

You are correct. UL has a solid ace in Austin and our next two starters are serviceable at best.
