What we've seen so far this season is unacceptable. Send paul on his way and bring Andy Cannizaro back.

57 pitches through 6. Shoot, let him ride the entire thing.

Dugas put that throw where Beloso didn't have to even move his glove to tag him. I'm sure that was more luck, but still a good play from start to finish.

Again, those things aren't very common. If you tag there, you damn sure better make it. Couldn't tell on tv if he was half way at first, thinking it may drop, and had to go back to the bag.

Like I said you go if there’s no risk. Gio had best angle, he knows his speed, and if he thought he could get out then I have no issue with his decision.

But how many times last year did we have runners thrown out at home on a two out single? A lot.

Oh and another way to score is on an error.

It’s best to tag every time if there’s no risk.

He’s got 90 pitches to finish this thing. I wouldn’t hate seeing a Maddux today

What’s the excuse for hitting today? Too sunny?

Of course. That goes without saying. I'm assuming he felt there was a risk. If he jumped towards third, thinking it may drop, then he had to get back to second to tag.

Our new hitting coach has his job cut out for him, doesnt appear to be an easy task for him, this year.

Same here, I didn’t see anything to tell me otherwise.
