I doubt this is the last time he gets this.

My way too knee jerk early reaction on this is this kid looks even better than Bregman was at the plate. Keep in mind Bregman hit like .369/.417/.546 as a freshman too,

He has a chance to have the first 100 hit season since Bregman was here I think. Duplantis kept getting close but never got there from what I can remember.

He's got pop at the plate, that's for sure. Showing strong discipline too for a freshman.

He's going to be a great one for us.

How many players in the SEC, regardless of class, put up these kind of numbers on opening weekend?

And we get him for 3 years, correct? Hopefully not draft eligible as a sophomore

He’s already a beast for LSU. He’s pro ready at the plate right now

BA ranked 19th nationally, and everyone with a higher BA had less at bats.

One guy nationally hit 4 HRs, and 8 others hit 3 HRs. Plenty hit 2 HRs.

OBP ranked 23rd nationally.

South Caorlina's catcher went off. 7 for 10 with 3 HRs, 9 RBIs.

I still think the Pinstripes should be a weekend uniform.

Crews is a monster and isn’t going to get anything to hit in SEC play

No, but ell wants him to go JUCO so as long as we keep him out of his ear.

Yeah Duplantis got 89, 90, 89, 91 each year.

Bregman had 104 in 2013. 77 & 84 his last two years.

Can someone refresh my memory and remind me which guys would have never made it to campus in a regular draft?

It’s hard to say exactly. But Crews 100% would’ve went in a normal year

Blake money was a threat to be drafted as well
