Nope, Durham is the only SEC quality running back on the roster. Obviously, he cant be on the field every play, but he needs the majority of the snaps.

I thought this might be a good game for Jackson to get in and just run over everything, but they only gave him 2 carries.

TV said that was not the case this week. Had it removed.

I must have missed that part on the broadcast, then. I saw the clip where they said his cleats were encased in a special fiberglass to avoid reinjuring from people stepping on his toes and was under the impression that was in the Bama game.

My b. I have no idea how it takes so long for all of these players to heal from injuries. While other teams players come back from more severe injuries quicker. Probably goes with our soft strength and conditioning

It was right after that. They said "but this week it has been removed and he's ready to go"

You can listen at the tv, bk or whoever you want but if you think that kid is healthy you’re kidding yourself

His burst on that long run didn’t even look the same as it did vs South Carolina

Something is clearly bothering him. I’m not sure what you guys aren’t seeing

Williams is in there instead of Durham for one reason- his pass blocking ability relative to Durham’s. If Williams’ grade was low, that tells you that they have no confidence in Durham’s ability to keep Nuss upright.

I was calling people dumb for suggesting it was a coach’s decision. I assumed he was hurt because it was utterly unjustifiable. I was the idiot.

He could’ve been on the field 70/70 and we still would’ve lost by 30

There are way bigger issues than that

Who is the most dangerous offensive weapon this team has?

Not anymore. That shite is healed it’s been 6 weeks

Spoken like someone who’s never recovered from turf toe. That shite doesn’t REALLY heal for months unless your foot is immobilized. That’s kind of hard to do while practicing and playing football.

Durham won’t be fully 100% until maybe Spring.

Durham got the plate that was in his shoe taken out last week.

They also said in the broadcast he’s still using the graphite cleat and was still playing through pain.

Does Durham have turf toe? I had turf toe in high school, extremely painful.

Turf Toe is specifically about the big toe. I think Durham actually sprained other toes, but I have a feeling the pain is very similar. Boy it does suck, having had it once.

What’s he going to say when he hits to portal due to lack of playing time despite being LSU’s best RB BY FAR?

Ride the hot hand Kelly.
Tell Frank Wilson to keep the hot RB in the freaking game. Frank stands right next to him on the sidelines.

Our lack of running game is a huge part of the problem and not having your best option in there isn't helping.

Josh Williams had a pass blocking grade of 32...

Can anyone explain?

Josh Williams 29 passing play snaps, 9 rushing play snaps

Caden Durham 12 Passing play snaps, 8 rushing play snaps

Coaches perceive Williams to be a better pass protector. And he certainly was at one time, I do not know if that is or isn't true anymore. What was Durham's pass-blocking grade?
