Antoine Duplantis fell awkwardly near and into the outfield wall at the USA collegiate trials tonight. It didn’t look too good.

A friend of mine has a son playing out there. He posted a short video of it. He said Duplantis was walked off of the field. Appeared to be bleeding and injury to shoulder.

Doesn't look like anything that will affect his Senior season, thankfully, but hopefully he's able to get back on the field with Team USA quickly.

He had x rays this morning and has a slight separation in his shoulder. Probably out for the summer.

Not much more update on Antoine Duplantis today after colliding with the left field wall and leaving the Team USA game last night.
Paul Mainieri still just says he's really sore #LSU

The squads were mixed, from what I could tell. My friend's son will be a senior in high school and he pitched with Duplantis and Watson in the OF behind him.
Edited: Looking at the box score, maybe not quite mixed. The losing pitcher will be a senior in high school next year, though.
