I’m excited about a team with Reese, Johnson and Mikaylah Williams next year.

When you consider the first round WNBA pick is making $72k this year, yeah, it wouldnt be the biggest NIL package put together to entice her to stay. No I'm not saying she needs $200k of NIL after next season to be enticed to stay...but if the womens team makes a serious run this year then maybe wins it all next year. Seems like a no brainer for Mulkey to work with some NIL partners to get her paid up to around what she would make as a WNBA rookie even as a #1 overall pick to entice her to stay here 1 more year because the team will continue to only get better each year under Mulkey.

LSU WBB is going to be the favorite for the natty in 2024 & 2025. Maybe beyond. What we're seeing is a team starting to ascend beyond the cultural bounds of WBB. Mulkey, Flaujae, and Mikayla Williams are a big part of that.

LSU WBB has the cool factor that goes beyond NCAA WBB that will pay dividends for the entire athletic department and the university as a whole. You're already seeing some of our football stars taking notice (ex - Perk). Soon (like next year), you're going to seeing NBA stars sitting courtside to see Mulkey, Reese, Flaujae and co.

I agree with you here I bet she will make almost what her salary would be in WNBA through various NIL deals. Even if she only makes 20k that’s a lot for these young athletes esp for women’s college sports

you're trying to stir the pot, but it's not about race.

Have you seen Livvy Dunne? I don't care if she's white, black, green, or blue. That's one attractive female.

Look forward to Aalyah Del Rosario as well. Top post player in this recruiting class, #4 overall. She would be the tallest player on our current team this year. She's 6-5. By comparison, Angel Reese is 6-3 and seems to tower over everyone.

Angelica Velez is also a top 25 player coming in who is teammates with Del Rosario. She's one of the top PGs in this class.

This starting lineup next year will be insane next season.

Angel Reese
Aalyah Del Rosario
Mikaylah Williams
Flau'jae Johnson
Angelica Velez

Like a hot girl, which is why she makes money. No one cares how good she is at her sport.

People may not want to say it, but how attractive a female athlete is has a lot to do with how marketable most of them are. I'll give you another example, Anna Kournikova. She was one of the most well-known female athletes on the planet 20 years ago. She never won a singles tournament in her tennis career (she won a few doubles tournaments). But she was hot and got a lot of attention for it.

I don’t think the WNBA pays that much, since very few people attend games. There was an all star player who had to play in Russia during the offseason, to make ends meet. She got caught trying to bring drugs into the country. And had to spend time in a prison hard labor camp.

I think it makes more sense to get your degree from a good university while collecting NIL, instead of trying to play a few years in the WNBA and not making much money.

My prediction for next year starters...

PG - Poa
Guards - Mikayla Williams & Flaujae
Bigs - Reese & SaMyah Smith

But Mulkey is going to have a 8-10 player rotation

My thoughts exactly. Poa appears to be getting more and more comfortable, and looking more like the #1 JUCO player in the nation from last season.

Velez and Del Rosario, will be the first two off the bench, as well as Kent and Bartlett.

Yeah Poa has looked a lot better lately. She could make a big leap next year.

Reese's Peanut Butter Cups should give her an NIL deal. Even make a "Double Double" Reeses's Cup after her with double the chocolate and double the peanut butter.
