I don’t believe Kelly really wants this paid monthly. He would be leaving too much money on the table unless he is truly in retirement mode and has no interest in coaching again.

Negative...its not part of the buyout. We're stuck with the entire amount
The mitigation clause states that Kelly must seek to be paid FMV for his football-related services at his next place of employment and his compensation at the next job will offset his buyout from LSU. You can read it yourself in his contract under Schedule A, Section 3(B) Duty to Mitigate. I'll type it here though for convenience.
"Duty to Mitigate. In the event of termination by LSU without cause, the amount of liquidated damages owed by LSU under this Section shall be reduced and extinguished by and to the extent of any compensation Employee earns, receives, or is entitled to receive for football-related employment, whether intercollegiate or professional, including coaching, administration or media, from any third party from the termination date until LSU's obligation pursuant to this Section to Employee terminates or ceases to exist. Employee shall exercise due diligence and good faith in seeking qualifying employment so long as the liquidated damage obligation exists. In the event Employee obtains such other employment, Employee must notify LSU and provide documentation reasonably requested by LSU to determine the amount of compensation received by Employee and the amount of offset due LSU."
Not only would Kelly's next football job mitigate some of the buyout, he is actually obligated to attempt to find a football-related job while the buyout is being paid.

It's a matter of public record.
You can go to 19th JDC and get a copy of the divorce petition. It likely says generic terms like irreconcilable differences.

the mitigation clause means nothing. Kelly can actively look for a job and demand 25 million/yr and he will win against LSU when no one hires him. LSU can't make him take a job for a salary he doesnt agree to.

An object pronoun isn't a noun and its use as I quoted previously is not proper as written.

So you want to add blackmail to the reasons why coaches will not want to come to LSU?

What did he do to Kyren Lacy?
Re: Greg Brooks, you do realize that the Brooks family is throwing as much shite as they can at LSU, the doctors and anyone remotely involved to see what sticks? GB3 needs extended care the rest of his life amd that requires lots of money. Regardless of the lawsuit, he got testing and treatment because he was an LSU athlete... much faster than you or I would have gotten treatment.
How do I know this? Because my internist saw a large scab (that I couldn't explain) on the side of my breast. She referred me to the breast cancer center at Ochsner and a mammogram. They canceled my regular mammogram. Rescheduled a diagnostic one and it took a month or more to get into the cancer center. Brooks was seen quicker than that.

You do know they’re making threads about you and your stupid post over on the SECr?
Here’s a word of advice….
STFU!
We don’t give a damned what you think, and neither does our retarded Governor.

A smear campaign would not hurt Kelly. It would hurt LSU because it would prevent Kelly from getting another job that pays well and mitigates some of the buy out.
Some of y’all don’t think beyond today when you say stuff.
If the contract is terminated for cause due to morals clause, then there will be no buyout.

STFU!
1. I posted a 5 line rant on a message board titled Tiger Rant and you think I care that other posters have nothing better to do than post about another post
Edit- I looked... one post with 3 responses... wow dude, im really embarrassing Baton Rouge now arent i?
2. My point stands. Im not saying to breach contract. Im saying to put it out there how had this dude extorted LSU.
3. There is literally video footage of him discussing with his and Nuss agent, how much to pay Nuss.
4. He refused to pull Nuss during the season after Nuss continued to screw up. This, after pulling QBs at Notre Dame for far less.
Now add the other rumors about him. He got the contract of his life and basically gave 50% effort and finished in the end by choosing to he more loyal to his agent and Nuss then the University paying him.
So, as I read all these posts mischaracterizing my complaint, I can only say... get over it. Ofcourse I dont know everything, but this is what it looks like happened... and now BK is suing LSU.

Had an affair in year one
There’s all kinds of crap on Kelly not doing his job. He wasn’t well liked. He might’ve been battling depression or something who knows but he didn’t do the job he was hired to do.
