Haven't really followed this. Haven't really cared.. But wasn't it a pretty cut and dry case? They had a video.

They were charging him with sexual assault too. This was a plea deal if he got the sexual assault charged dropped.

Teabagging is the gateway to gayness. Hope that idiot learned his lesson.

The 2 year prison sentence is a plea bargain so he doesn't have to register as sex offender for life with the sexual assault charge.
2 years in OPP may have him rethinking that plea deal.
He is going to be bowlegged and know the real meaning of sexual assault after 2 year in OPP.
I'm surprised DA Cannizzaro took the deal and let him off so easy. Imagine if the victim would have been a female or a black guy....the public outrage would have been unreal. The sexual assault charge was accurate and this guy just got a great plea bargain.

And that was the plea bargain he agreed to instead of going to trial. It must have some good time credit where he'll get out earlier or he was really concerned with the sex offender registration and the possibility of the full 10 years.

From that wiki link:

quote:

In most U.S. states participation in boot camp programs is offered to young first-time offenders in place of a prison term or probation, in some states[where?] a youth can also be sentenced to participate in such a program. The time served can range from 90 to 180 days, which can make up for prison sentences of up to 10 years. How serving time and boot camp time is equated differs among facilities and states. Offenders who do not finish a program must serve the original prison sentence.

So, he may be there for 3 months in lieu of a 2 year OPP sentence?

man I'm gonna sit my kids down and talk about internet pranking and getting caught up in dumb shite when you're drunk today. I mean the guy should've known better, and I'd be pissed to be on the receiving end of a teabag, but that's a pretty rough penalty for a dumb stunt.

Is it possible that's a 2 year sentence to be commuted if he completes a boot camp, or something like that?
