Everybody reported as freshmen?:
“No. Donte Starks is not going to be there. The freshmen report on Friday, but I don’t think Donte is going to be there. I’m not sure on a couple other people. I’ll have some answers more or less tomorrow when I get back.”
Hopefully this is just a temporary thing that works itself out.

Starks transferred high schools like twice, so it's hardly a surprise that he'd be a credit short.

Hampton would be a fool to show up. Don't start the clock until you have to. If he gets drafted in the first round and doesn't workout at least he would have the option to return to school on a football scholarship.

It puts even more pressure on the MLB teams to meet his number if he's actually enrolled. Shows he is "Serious" about going to college.

I don't think that would shift MLB teams enough for reward. If he was my kid I would tell him not to show up till the MLB draft is over. You are only talking less than a week later.
