Depends....fancier restaurants like RC will give their servers 2 tables to provide maximum service. Most parties stay a minimum of 1 1/2 hours at a place like that. The tips were good...I do remember that.

If he’s conserving his money why is he spending 125 bucks on dinner? Seems wasteful

He can get another job in a heartbeat, exposing a NFL player for being a cheap POS is priceless.

Makes no sense, why would it happen?

I PROMISE you, if you are a regular at a restaurant and don't treat the waitstaff right, or you order pizza and mistreat the driver, you have consumed a TON of substances that patrons who tip well don't. Watch the movie "Waiting". The things they do to nontippers and complainers is NOT hyperbole. Right or wrong they WILL get back at you, and you would either never know, or could never prove it.

You need to tell your buddy that griping amongst friends is one thing but publicly putting a customer on blast is not cool and he shoud not be employed there any longer

Haven't sorted through all the posts in this thread yet, has anyone listed the celebrity standard of $2? He must have thought $5 was a big tip compared to the standard

So in the Fournette thread, fans are saying he shouldn't be paying for his friend's tuition and needs to save money but Donte is saving money and he's getting shite on.

He isn't making as much money on his rookie contract as people think according to your post.

Sounds like his server sucked. Proof is that they put it on social media afterwards.

This. The fact the waiter would go on Twitter says it all.

And I have no problem with showing frustration with the service via the tip. That's the whole point of a 'tip'.

This arbitrary 15-20% society has dreamt up is crap

It's a black thing. It usually goes hand in hand with giving the waitress a hard time and complaining about the service or the food, to try to get their meal free. I saw Deion Sanders on network TV saying that he never tips.

He was being generous. He left something. We aren’t obligated to tip. These folks need to be pay a real wage. Not depending on a handout from me. That’s how it works in the civilized world. There’s many, many bars and restaurants in Nola area that can afford to pay servers at least twenty bucks an hour, but they don’t have to because we have been brainwashed. NOLA area has an extremely profitable restaurant and bar industry. But like all businesses in this country, large and small, their allowed to screw over if workers by any means necessary.

It’s like clockwork with you type of people! They just want to stand out! “frick THE SYSTEM!”

You people make me sick.

No. It's an a-hole thing. I've seen white people not tip and I've seen black people tip $100 before. This happens from all walks of life.

I've had a server come to my table pissed because the customers at a table in her section (4 people who were white) didn't tip her after great service. I tipped her $40 for working hard for my wife and I on top of helping those assholes who didn't tip.
